I think if we had started the season on zero we would be now knocking on the door for auto propmotion.

No Im not a lawyer/barrister but the people who were who were interviewed at the time were surprised that she had not done so. To be fair if Vantis had done their job properly and the debts put before her that are out now, I have no doubt she would not have had any second thoughts and closed them down.

I assume when they go into admin, the HMRC canot add on any penalties. To me the whole saga has been one of avoidance and manouver to avoid justice. I have taken stick for my stance but the day the registrar did not do her duty was the day that reinforced my feeling that Pompey would indeed get away with it. The hope of proper punishment is being shaved down by the day. AA is confident in a ****y way of how he is going to get a CVA. Chanria will own the club for pennies at the same time drawing a large amount of money out. If the HMRC wlak away with little and the FL is our last hope of them getting any real pain.

Well i was trying to be diplomatic as you stunk to high heaven....sorry I didnt want to tell you but you asked. I think the away team has got to get there to be in the changing rooms by 5pm .The reason being Phil has got 15 albums of photographs of him in different photograpic poses on the golf course to talk you through. The home team have to be there at 5.30 but i will give my team a few minutes grace to finish up there double cheese burgers and large pizza's swilled down with 5 pints of lager of course

I agree, but those 2 really were poor, if it was serious it would be laughable. i thought we were paying the Harlem Globetrotters last night the amount of times they handled the ball

A diificult night with lots of talking points and frustration. The ref wanted to look strong by not giving the hoime side anything and was determined not to give us a penalty. In my experience if the crowd to a man go up screaming for a penalty , it is. The one occasion in the 2nd half when they did it turns out to be a blatant example of one. It is easy to criticise the maangers team selection when you job or decisions are not under the spotlight like AP is. I myself would not have started with Wooton but would have played a ultra attacking team, in the you score 1 we'll score 2 mentality. Taking James off was a brave decision as it was always likely to spotlight an error in hos subs. Brave management IMO he could have easily taken someone else off and left james on and that would have killed that issue. With all our play only a save by KD stopped us losing that is how bizarre last night was! Puncheon was disappointing but he is like AL a played who can turn a game in an instant and so you need hom on the pitch. I thought Seabourne did well and see that he will be a very good player for us in time. He tries to play and many think heis hoofing when it is cultured hoofing to the winger or forwards. Fonte is a MUST hold onto player, but I suspect many clubs will come calling for him. RL was fouled all night, and Barnard doesnt seem to have a natural understanding with RL. I do rate him though. All in all a frustrating night and it does football no favours when you have a ref who does not add on time for the obvious time wasting they were doing from the first kick

Granty will play even teams, it will be no fun for anyone if it is 10 -0 .....although it might stop Phil talking about his golfing and football managerial skills Lol if we won by that amount. I spoke to Fordy last night and the old boy is struggling with a back injury. Looking at him I thought perhpas I should get my boots out after all.He said he might be ready to step in if a place comes available if it does not flare up after a marathon. We are now building up to the event and all of you virgins to this had better get ready for one hell of a good experience. Granty is a star for getting this done again, come on the home team ' lets be avvin yer.'

I didnt know that Block 5. What business do they own? They have a right to canvass legally and so you should let them.I dislike the Socialist workers party but that doesnt make me wish to attack them. They also IMO are misguided.

Dont start that apologist nonsense. How about the Italians paying us money as a duty of care or the Norwegians , or French for what they did during their conquests years ago. Yes pay money to countires in aid but dont wrap it up in the 'we did them bad rubbish' Forget not they sold their own. I was told we are giving aid to China as well, they need it Lol. I may add that we have increased our aid to the African countries , it wouldnt be a case of how the Chinese are cosying up to them as they want to get hold of the commodities of course and we want to compete. I will add that I am more than happy to give to charity but I do resent knowing that most of it does not get to the poor souls I intended it to get to. Arming boy soldiers was not my intent during Live Aid and nor was it geldofs Im sure.

when they call and ask for whoever, jsut say 'Oh I will go and find them' Put the phone down a keep doing what you are doing go back 5 minutes later and if they are still there do it again. I have never had to do it again. How about a whistle down the mouthpiece lol

Thanks for that. I recall a couple of years back reading that another dodge was that when they want a pen they are able to buy Mont Blanc's etc and put those down as fair expenses, not the Bics most of us would expect them to use, which are just as capable of doing the job.

I dont think anybody of any political persuasion would not find those MP's disgusting. To me it is not just those headline grabbing MP's who need voted out. To think that the Libs /Labour /whoever do not have their own skeltons would be naive. Clegg trying to look like Mother Teresa is nausiating if not very risky as the media are now looking into his past. I think if the MEP's were looked into deeper we would be more up in arms. The practice of charging for airline tickets and then driving back was commonplace at one time. I dont care what political party you support, all of them are robbing from us and we all are working everyday to earn money so they can live a comfy life. Stick up for Clegg or any of the other hypocrites if you wish but I believe the majority are out for themselves and do not care 1 iota for me or you, they are only interesting in power and the trappings that come with it.

As an aside my vehicle that looks as though it is caked in mud , is not, we just happen to have a large amount of volcanic ash that has fallen on my vehicle. On a more serious note the financial implications for all this could not come at a worse time for our economy. Add the thouhght of a hung parliament and the pound could suffer a lot, adding to the woes of anyone stranded.

the Salisbury Lib dem father owns 2 or 3 McDonalds franchises, he calls them restaurants lol I thought the Libs were not very keen on Globalisation

i dont know where you dig these gems up from Gm but it is hilarious reading. I think I can recall this originally being posted and then reading it with despair and wondering where how he could say all that. Patently he was living in a dream world and perhaps under the impression that is how he was running the club.

Has it been clarified when the parachute monies being extended starts?

WS it seems to me that eother vantis or AA have to be brought to account on this. They have misled the court Imo. Sadly the rest of the world dont give a damn and Pompey are taking advantage of that.
-
i firmly bleieve if this info had been made public initially then the registrar wuld have had no option but kill thme off on the day. Now she has been seen not to do her duty to all the suppliers and the HMRC, I think that Pompey will get away with it. if the CVA ruse does work they definately have got away with it big time.

£90 million owed to unsecured creditors - of which £38 million is due to three previous owners in the form of loans , how convieninet that it puts the HMRC out of blocking the CVA. Highly contensious indeed. Vantis are amazingly quiet Can 1 of the more informed tell me, can the revenue take this back to the High court, as the court was not given the full evidence when the registrar did not wind them up. Owing still on players to money lenders, it gets more and more murkier. It is frustrating

That is such a great post. i recall going to Williams beneifit match and loads of saints fans came and suported his retirement and he didnt even have the decency to turn and applaud the saints fans who had filled his pockets. He is the B'mouth mouthpiece on Solent.

I dont think you have ever called for that, from where i sit i saw somebody sitting back having a few undermining digs and awaiting a chance to stick the knife in from the blind side. Now you have made yourself as clear as anyone could ask, I can now see i was wrong thinking that you were not fully backing AP. Fair criticism is not wrong as long as its's constructive in my book
