So the old Ho has returned, the arrogance with him Lol. 'Just what are they have supposed to have done to help us?' How about opening transfer windows, letting you sign players on loan with loan fees when you were trading whilst insolvent, taking no action regarding all the trading whilst insolvent, offering parachute money to tie you over, letting you trade whilst all others couldn't, turn a blind eye to your transgretions..its a bit like Life of brian 'what did the Romans do for us?' Let's just wait and see, any news on next seasons s/t sales after your mate said tghey would exceed 13.500 to about 16k I suspect you will be telling us they will hit about 20-25k. Your time of media coverage and limelight is fast slipping away, not many will be sorry to see you go and keep those memories strong as they may be at present but they will fade

Boatang Dindane etc will suddenly develop back ache and not be fit to play any games until the final. I was surprised that on sunday that the players who had come back from injury were able to play 120 minutes. I think Spurs turned up expecting to win and when I saw Crouchie laughing as he missed another chance, showed they didnt care. HR did not get off his seat and changed the team to its detriemnt IMO. After saying that Pompey did what they needed to do, and I was very disappointied how poor Spurs were. Luck has been following Pompey for quite a few years now and sooner or later it will run out...when? who knows

Hold on, it was not a case of buying players for survival though was it? You bought a team of all stars and some were on 90k a week. That is not what Saints or any other club with small means did. Dont try and make out that little old Pompey tried to skrimp and save and used a load of hardened journeymen. The fact is you bought the success you had and now are crying like girls because you should pay up. Blaming everyone but yourselves. Get some b#### and take any penalties you get, at the moment you have got away with murder and the authorities seem to be unable to do anything about it

So Lambert should be looked at as they lost to no hopers last night. FFS nobody wins every game and to pick below average results is just trying to make mischief, who has posted this commment.....oh Alps

I think a lot of people fail to factor in self interest. All along i have mentioned that the PL chairman Dave Richards introduced one of the arabs to Pompey. He will do any thing IMO to keep out of the flak and so do what is required to help them whilst he is under their remit. The FL have said nothing, but it is unfortunate that one of MM people has now taken over from malwhinney. MM has a lot of self interest in Poimpeys books not being really looked into IMO as well. It is a den of snakes and only the HMRC or Fraud squad have a chance of giving Pompey their just desserts.

I always have been against loaning money if possible. How much is the clutch?
-
At present I dont believe either!!!
-
It is a nonsense, and needs the people who know how these things work to explain it to us. I would have thought HMRC would have croied foul, but they just seem to be like little pussycats, and since Brown said what a great club Pompey are HRMC seem to have pulled back, all coincidence of course but they have lost their teeth it seems

Where does this leave Vantis and their SOA? They were put in to find the state of the club and now the debt has risen by 20m or more!!! If they had produced a SOA on the day of the High court judgement the registrar would have had to close them down. In theory their bad accounting if this really is the case , has cost us the taxpayer 10m + Lots of questions to be answered IMo

Well patently you dont know how it works either. We have a few who work in the administrator field on this site and they felt Pompey were goners (as well as Mark fry and other administrators in the media), not getting 2nd 3rd or 4th reprieves. Chanrai was interviewed last night in a snippet walking form the ground. He is a very wealthy man and perhaps he is enjoying being in the limelight, and if AA gets a CVA ,Chanrai may like to play a little longer. There are good profits to be made short term if they pay off the debt cheaply and may be in position to bounce right back into the league. I agree if they have to find 30+m then it is not likely. SourMash has summed up how I feel totally and explained Pompeys fans position brilliantly. They have robbed the bank spent a couple of years in monte Carlo spending the money only to get given community service picking up litter. Pompey will and have got away with it, and you may think it's great, but i don't as fair play has not been served. I maybe an old woman in your eyes but I have principles and like them to be observed
-
well this is a surprise this morning to read that after all it seems they will come out of admin with a CVA. So relegation from the PL and 2 cup final visits, including at least 1 victory. Doiesnt seem to me they have had any real sanctions and I suspect every clubs fans in the country barring perhaps 4-5 would take that pain to have the memories. Add the fact they also have the majority of the countries fans sympathy lol. The majority of Pompeys fans are fairweather, and so they will be Popey til they reach another final, but they will be there and will be more than happy with this season. They have beaten us and got to Wembley...toast I dont think so. The only toast will be to that registrar for not doing her job and fudging when she should have pulled the plug. very dark forces have been in play.
-
But it will be portrayed as the fariytale of the FA cup. It is the fairytale of how the poor downtrodden fans and club are fighting against all odds against those nasty people who want to be paid for what is rightfully theirs. Forgetting of course that most of the players should not be there and that various rules have been forgotten to let them do so.
-
Lol, but Im impatient. People have been telling me this for months now. In that time they have not only beaten my chosen football team bt Brum and Spurs. In that time they have visited Wembley and are going back again, and had wonderful experiences doing so. I wish Saints had domne the same so my kids could have lived the dream, they have lived the dream far more than Leeds and still are alive and kicking.
-
I know many on here dont like what i say but from their fans perspective many would have taken 2 Cup finals and then go down a leaqgue or 2.I suspect there are many Saints fans who would swop a couple of lifetime memeories for a bit of pain. Pompey have so far got away with it, and I goan hope that they will recieve full justice when i see Clapham still confident that they are toast. From here it seems a long way away, and if I had my way the doors would have been shut and the keys thrown away. That would be justice, not fielding players they cannot rightly afford , who have played and got thewm through to the FA cup final. They have a chqance to lift the cup again, something clubs who have played by the rules may never get...justice what justice?
-
so they get more luck, thats wehy I cant help thinking they will get away with it. Relegation is hardly punisdhment and add to that the worldwide coverage will up their profile and you never know if a benefactor comes forward
-
So HR soends all that money and loses to a relegated team and wil not make 4th. At least he is a loser in all this Ref bad penalty decision and disallowing the good goal.
-
Seems to me HR is happy derailing his own side.
-
HR taking off Defoe! Modric would have been off it it was me
-
Ohara is talking as though he is one of their players. I dont think id be happy if i was a spurs fan, he really is gagging for a spurs defeat
-
the commentator is such a d###, he is going on as though it the most attractive game of football ever. You can see that one of the spurs back pairing slipping and letting Piquionne in
