Britains got talent auditions find a new act. Syncyronised saluting with a Morris dancer -
If you are talking about the 2nd half , i agree a quick free kick should be allowed, but not 5 yards forward from the offence, and you were rightly told to move the ball back to the right place. I think there were decisions that could have gone both ways, a couple of hand balls were not called, but for me Foxy's offside decision seemed very harsh. All in all , i thought the ref did well, although he may well have called a foul when Influenced tapped your ankle

My match report. First thing to say, i hope that Bigdave Watson recovers quickly form his injury, and was a great miss to the away side. his place taken up by Lawrie Macs son, who ably filled his space. The first 10 minutes were quite scrappy with little action. All of a sudden the team took my request to pass and not hoof wherever you played and we played some really good triangular passing moves, one touch stuff Bally would have been drooling about. We instantly upped our game and DP's team were chasing shadows, which in the heat was tough. We had one move that came from right back right through midfield and sadly not able to finish with a goal but their keeper made a decent save to put it for a corner. It was obvious that a goal must come and duly did with a cracking finish by Saintsforlife7.That made us settle more and the floodgates now seemed certain to open up. With our captain Influenced.com in midfield pulling the strings Spades fired the second home. DP's side were tiring and if was not for some superb last ditch defending by Geneva and especially the Flying Finn (in my team last year) and keeping by Redarmy79 we would have made it 6or7 before half time. JustMike was given a torrid time by Spades (who IMO should get off his backside and make himself known and get into a high standard of football) Another flowing move saw the third goal, after another defence splitting move Spades was through on goal and unselfishly slid the ball across goal for Rabbit to slide home.Instantly we were back on the attack and a now tired away side saw Magnet through but his attempt went agonizingly wide from a difficult angle. Our midfield was working hard and the away side had Noodles trying to hold it together and was ably supported by his other teammates but the endeavor and passing of my teams was just too good. LeeSaint our keeper was getting cold in the heat as he had nothing to do apart from collecting a few stray balls and one he pushed past the post,i put that down as one for the camera though.A terrific defensive partnership of Bpsaint and OOhTerryHurlock had snuffed out Um Bongo''s and an ever more frustrated Granty's attacking threat. They had nothing to feed on, Neilza was in control on the left and Spades was up and down the pitch comfortably controlling that side. Scudamore was left trying to help justMike deal with Spades and that was an impossible task. No doubt Scudamore was also regretting alluding to in the pre match banter Influenced being a short fat bast###, as after a challenge my captain offered to remove his head from his shoulders, all in the best possible taste of course Lol. Im sure Influenced will apologise for his enthusiasm. To the relief of the away side half time came. My job was easy, just wander in and to keep their heads, and get the new players ready for the 2nd half. It was never going to be the same, we were comfortably in control. The second half started with scrappy football. The away side had a new injection players into midfield and slowly were turning the game possession wise. A brilliant first time hook forward by Foxy sent Dan Kerrins through and looked certain to score but a brilliant save from redarmy79, kept them in the game. One or two if the away fans thought that was game changing, and were happy to tell me so, but Red and White 91 soon made it 4-0 with a smart finish. The away fans who had been getting above themselves quietened a bit then. A scrappy goal mouth scramble left them to get a goal back (not sure who was the goalscorer Dr Zuess or St Nando, but a useful finisher) This came at a time when Bpsaint our rock in defence had limped off and could not risk playing on. That meant a reshuffle bringing onSaintsforlife7 and Spades going into the centre of defence alongside the enthusiastic and imposing SaintDonkey with Influenced moving back into a shielding role. This gave the impetus to the away side, although we still looked like we could score again if need be. A five minute period where we were still trying to get our shape again did cause some concern, they hit the bar and LeeSaint made a superb save that stopped their charge, that then petered out. Rabbit who was surprising not Orange, had run himself into the ground and came off with a calf injury, and so again the tireless Magnet came on to fill his role until Rabbit decided to come back on again and then came off again allowing Andy Porter another unsung hero to finish the game. Twice Maddog was unlucky with headed attempts, and the game was ebbing and flowing. Whilst 4-1 up the game could easily turn on another goal by the away side but from a corner , the ball fell at the feet of Red and White91 and before he had shot i knew he would score. his composed finish belied his young years.5-1 game over. The away side got a late consolation goal (again Dr Zeuss or St Hando) For the last 10 minutes knowing the job was done i could happily sit in the dugout, the referee thought he had ordered me to but it was my decision to do so and sit chatting to my squad. The final whistle came and Saint Donkey dropped to his knees and kissed the pitch, a classic moment that summed up what this game/club means to us. I hope the photographers got a picture of that and not waiting for any of my approach to the ref at the final whistle. Thanks to Granty for organising this again, to all who played and even Al De Man and Minty for taking the time for turning up to take pictures. Of course the friends and family who also sat through this and cheered when it was suggested that i go and sit down by the ref. Last season Influenced was the Motm, this season he was just edged out by Spades

there was a lot of segregation due to the friction between the home and away fans -
Things have been a tad quiet, im wondering what tricks Phil and his team have been up to, Im waiting for a player to be parachuted in at the last minute. Just you watch, it will happen I can feel it in my water. The weather is warming up a bit, so i dont think Im going to wear my Avram Grant long coat (although i'll have his long grim face) I wonder if the Mancini scarf around the neck will look good though, it is tough trying to make a fashion statement, that's the stress of management.

It seems to me that AA and co, have pulled a fantastic deal and expect the CVA to be accepted. They know if the HMRC who are on the board of creditors are part of this they are most likely to accept. My feeling is that the CCC is the weakest it has been for years and promotion is not as hard as in the past. Like their last promotion season the other clubs were reeling from the ITV debacle but they had the financial muscle to go up. This time they have Chanrai, who is at present going to be quids in, with a 5m gamble he can install a manager like Cotterill and get some good players on a 10k a week wage cap. Then if they get back up he is going to ring the bell and have a PL side costing 5-10m. The only thing i can see stopping that is points reductions. Now if the HMRC have agreed to the liquidation in 9 months so they can go after PS etc then I can only assume that they will not put a spoke into the wheel. When i first said that the HMRC pulled back when Brown came out and said 'this shoulkd not happen to a great historic club blah blah blah' it was scoffed at. I am probably talking bollix (VFTT tm) but I do wonder that there has been a lot of influential people in many important places where this cannot ever come out. Conspiracy theory perhaps but only time will tell. I cannot see justice coming into play at present, and as I ve stated before if relegation has been the only penalty the club has received then they have got away with it. The last hope of them being holed below thw waterline in this is if the FL/FA do take steps and give them points deductions. It is not that i dont respect the very good and knowledgeable posters on here on the other side of the arguement, but it has gone on too long and everything seems to be turning their direction. Many thought they would not make the end of the season, now we dont get the winding up theory , but they will struggle in the lower half of the CCC, that will change to they won't make the play-offs etcetc.

Perhaps there are too many influential people in football in many countries who really don't wish for a lot of the actions at Pompey ever to see the light of day.
