2 articles in a week. seems a bit of a power struggle going on. NC is likely to be the winner IMO as I doubt the fans are stupid enough to turn on the new owner, who has given NC the power to get things right. AP will be forgiven for not getting us to the play-offs this season but if he fails and we also have no silverware i suspect the pressure and focus will become intense on him

To my mind the administrator not sending Ohara back at this time is reckless. Pompey paly Spurs in the league and then the FA cup semi. Both games Ohara is inelegible. Therefore you are talking a couple of weeks wated wages. That is money coming out of the creditors pot.

Well to me there seems to be a tranparent fog that is getting thicker. As Kingsland red pointed out, when he first arived the debt he stated that was owed is now over 20m more!!!!! I would think they should keep a lot of court dates open if this carries on.

it seems to me they are shuffling the debts to make the HMRC's share lower. Are they able to keep paying some of HRMC debts so that to get them below 25% or do the HMRC want it in 1 lump?

AA one monet is saying there will be hundreds if not thousands of players released and then they will get fees for his players

Perhaps AA has not got the funds in place to pay the wages after all and in the talks with the PL/FA it was noted that htis was a way to get funds.

I have enjoyed this season more than I have for a long time even more than WGS' reign. I dont worry if we dont get to the PL if we carry on entertaining ,scoring goals and hqave decent crowds. Im not suire I want to pay £40 to watch the so called 'worlds most exciting league' as Wigan/Bolton/Blackburn come to SMS set up not to lose. Im happy but that does not mean I dont want us to not do better when we patently should do. As for Viagra i dont need it....yet

But it is not just the Tranmere game. Im not wishing for a change of manager as it has never worked. NC is correct that there have been times when with our resources, we have not come up with the results. Tranmere, Wycombe, away and Swindon home have all been games where we could and should have come way with more points. i wont factor in early season results as we were still not a team then. I have never been a 'we are mighty Southampton and should win' type, but I do believe that we should have been less than 10 points from the play offs at this stage. Iam pro AP but alos sympathetic to NC's thoughts

it is a great jesture but of course the total wages are 1500 pw. That is less than 100 from each player and no doubt the 4 people saved are staff who the players need to run errands.

I did put IF. It is only a rumour at present but IF they do then they will have got away with it.

that was sarcasm as Samuel absolutely hates RL. Samuel is a West Ham fan and no doubt has AP as a contact from his days there. I get the feeling that AP will leave in the summer for 1 reason and that would be due to his relationship with NC. I can see both sides of the arguement, NC says we have given away a lot of cheap points this season and due to that we are not close to the play offs. Ap has had to try an knit together a new set of players. So both have valid arguements. I hope htey both can keep this in house. Interestingly though after listening to NC's interview for Solent he has made safeguards if a manger leaves as the scouting network finds the players and helps make a decision if we buy . Therefore if the manager odes leave for better things you stil can build from where you already are.

Come to think of it the ref looked like a cross between Steve mcClaren and a witch at the last game.....all the decisions went Phils teams way, he disappeared for 10 minutes at halftime and afte4r the match..it's starting to add up.
