I promise you I felt noi hurt , and even on the day I went back of into the corporate areas and enjoyed the rest of the day.
-
Stevo, you at least have the guts to admit you are wrong, top man
-
Well Iam amazed that people wanting to buy the club talk to the fans first and not as most business deals are done, get it bought then the talk to fans. Reading what they expect will put the buyers off, afterall you thought (the fans ) that you could afford Requilme etc. It doesn't add up
-
Iam surprised nobody has picked up on him saying about player purchasing. It seems to me that AP is not the only 1 who decides who is bought. The way NC put it across was osund IMO as he said 'if a manager leaves, we are left with his palyers' wheras if the club have a plan they can carry on building and not having to start again as the manager has moved. IMO he is what we need and perhaps a bit of a dictator, but one vision that will with determination get us back to the higher leagues

Reading all that will give him a headache and rib ache at the same time due to laughing and tension!!!

I had worried you had been heading the ball a bit too much recently for you to have made your first assessment. I agree let's hope Seabourne gets a bit of knowledge from Jaidi as I doubt he will be such a player next season.

I think most Pompey fans were too embarrassed at the club going to a L1 club get outplayed and only looking for a break away goal. Derby defeats (not that I have seen many over the years) hurt, not that one. Anyway you yet again got a taste of the lucky brush by having these new people in...............but I threw my hands up in despair when the first Sheik arrived, anybody heard where he is...still in Russia?
-
well you ought to get him to have a look at Pompeys finances and dealings
-
Just to temper it a bit, i think you will find that some of the tickets were linked to geting 1 for the Pompey game, and so that would be a factor.
-
Sniffing glue by any chance?
-
I agree and something does not add up, if he was there before admin why not get in then to stop the -9.The rewards would be much higher if they stayed up, and as there is no roof to the funding whats a mere 85m Lol
-
Andy thank god you are playing and not managing in the forum game! Lol, if you believe that Fonti is only half the player Jaidi is. It is my belief that they compliment each other very well and so Jaidi is more confident that the more agile Fonte is there to cover. It is a pairing and that is the strength. Look at Claus without Killer, not a fraction of the player. Both did well yesterday. I posted Fonte Motm but it was a toss up between the 2 and the overriding thing that made me take that decision was in the 2nd half when the ball went over Fonte and he hooked the ball over his head to snuff out the onrushing Leeds playerfs attempts to sneak a chance.

If people are prepared to pay a 3m non returnable deposit they are serious. There can be no doubt about that. To me I cant understand why anyone would buy them but as you well know I think they will get out of it.
-
I think there is more chance of you having no roof on your ground before in finances. Nice to see you have lifted a bit of courage to return now that you may be saved
-
That's what my daughter said on the way to the game. An ex-employee who feels unhappy in getting the boot. IT specialist perhaps who can dig out old e-mails etc to earn a bonus out of Storrie by selling it to the papers

Did the ref at tranmere give fouls only to them? It seems to me that the ref in the first half today was intent on not giving us naything, and he looked desperately towards the lino for our goal hoping to give offside
-
Saint Stevo can you talk us through how Fonte is doing the fouling please.?
-
you have to be kidding. It was right in front of me and their defender had his arms around Fonte and pulled him to the ground
-
Is it correct that Fratton Park is to be renamed? I was talking to Ho's mate at the club and I'm sure he said that Fratton Park was going to be a M T stadium next season
-
We again made the opposition look very poor. Lallana and Puncheon played really well and the football was exciting stuff. Just to correct a poster earlier who said Barnard missed a sitter with a header in fact it was Lallana's poor attempt. The ref in the first half especially was awful.IMO Puncheon was lucky to stay on as I think he took out McSheffery with a bad challenge. How Gradel stayed on is a mystery. i can only assume that the ref was trying to make the game flow. I said during the game ,who needs PL football at £40 a pop when you get a game like that.

The bit I heard made me realise we have a very smart man guiding our club. He like me is keen on the idea of having our own end and the away fans moved. He knows that some will stick their heels in and may not return to watch the club.If we have the crowds back im sure he will be happy to factor in the loss of perhaps a 1000 fans.To be fair if they are more interested in making jestures to the away fans, then perhaps it will be no loss.

Fortunately I have not had to give your rabble a motivational speech, and I must say I can't compete with Phil's, as 35 minutes of him reminicing about a Bullfrog and his exploits on a golf course when he was holding an umbrella for a golfers ex wife is very hard to beat. I will have to concentrate on stupid things like telling me players what an honour it is to be their manager.

If you score I think we all will celebrate as Haleys Comet is more likely to appear above us on the night. As I mentioned to the Flying Finn you dont celebrate own goals. I do appreciate the sentiments though, i do hope you enjoy the away team dressing room, it is still the pits wheras my team have the luxury of the newly updated home dressing room.
