  1. you just know that they will get out of it. They have been tetering too long and not going under. Russian mafia no doubt looking to use the same old path. Another slice of luck for them was that they were one a the very few clubs who actually sold players, amazing considering how few fees were done during the window.
  2. I cant work out how they could have walked away from those debts.Just shows they know every trick in thebook to avoid their responsibilites.
  3. I wonder where they have that registered, and how can they afford the lawyers?
  4. Pompey still have a squad that should pick up more than 6 points than at least of 3 teams in that list. I think they have Wolves and Hull home and Bolton Burnley away. I have maintained all along they will stay up...unless they go pop or admin calls.
  5. does dindanes retrun count? The manager and storrie will say it is like having a new signing Lol They still will beat us in the cup
  6. Will they worry about something in a years time? I suspect the 3m is far more important now as it could be used to pay next months wages. I feel loathe to buy a cup ticket as I know 40% will be going to their coffers.
  7. Good idea as there is going to be a headlong rush to try and be number 10000. Or as decent people we should let one of our resident Skates have the honour.
  8. No I haven't spoken to him personally but read why he turned down Spurs. Your post made out that he was desperate not to leave his spiritual home at FP, when all he was doing was trying to ensure first team football.
  9. Are you Storrie? He does want to go but he requires first team football......oh and his wages paid on time. The transfer window has been perfect to save the club as you can cash in, when the window shuts then what? I myself cant see what people see in Kaboul the little I have seen of him was a player who was very inconsistant and liable to some bad errors. HR has waved his majic dust and the Spurs fans dont see what is happening, his blunderbuss buying approach of getting loads of players in, 30% being good the rest just about making the first team. The good ones make him look a great judge while the rest are lost in the squad for when he is down to the bare bones. Spurs wage bill must make eyes water. even though they get double your gates they must still feel it.
  10. it seems they are throwing every penny into PL survival , if they manage to do so they will get out of all their problems. they must have something up their sleeves re the winding up orders
  11. Surely the Pl should also find the article
  12. But chief executive Storrie said the club must also secure new investment quickly to stave off going bust and he has been negotiating with horse racing tycoon John Magnier and Saadi Gaddafi, son of Libyan leader Colonel Gaddafi (end quote) Funny how it was reported by Pompey last week that they had no contact with Gaddafi. You just know Gaddafi will roll up as owner, the dirty club as it is now would jump at the chance. The Pompey in its real glory days would never have gone near it.
  13. He put in some superb crosses and his work and fantastic cross to create the heading chance that Papa missed was brilliant. How the ref missed the push on barnard is a mystery to me.
  14. poor first half, little threat and we need Barnard to get his first goal to settle him down. My MOM was Holmes
  15. Of all the games to play after that news breaks is to play Pompey. He will get loads of Terry taunts
  16. That is not a funny thing to do, although I suspect the person doing it thought it was. That will only serve for a tit for tat response from one of their fans to our club site. Its not on IMO
  17. 18. I think he has been watching Fools and Horses, which in a funny way sums up Pompey fans. 'This time next year Avram, we're gonna be million airs'
  19. If the Dindane deal has fallen through adds 80k a week back onto the Pompey wage bill. That will not be easy to fund. That will put even more pressure on the club to sell. How has Kaboul all of a sudden become a star plyaer ? he couldnt get a kick the last time he was at Spurs as far as i recall anyway
  20. I do agree but after their finest have been to SMS in a few weeks time I suspect we may feel differently
  21. Bucket collection. Ive one down my shed, its lost its handle will that do??
  22. yeah but they need decent players to get them out of the hole. Frankly cash is not will save them (eg £5m or less) it is their PL survival. if they happen to stay up all of a sudden they will have a lower wage bill and the big tv revenues flowing in.That would make them attractive to an investor. Therefore their focus is to get a side together that can stay up and do anything to deflect any other bills. hence CCJ's and winding up order put to the back of their priorities. I hope I have got that right Clapham and others may explain it better...if they agree with this of course
  23. i assume the Ohara loan fee and wages will be knocked off what spurs have to pay for Kaboul and Bergerac. Less the money due to them still outstanding on other deals they may feel they might not scrape in.
  24. I havent seen it posted here already but SSN news said last night that the web firm who took the site down was over a payment of £2k!!!!
