anyone...but Pompey. When they looked to be going down a few seasons back and they won at FP 1-0 it reignited thier season and they started a winning run.Had KP's shot gone in, not hit the post it would have been the hammer blow. i dont want that risk. Also their pent up frustration and ire would have a focus and I think it could be worse than at at any time before. I dont want to take my daughter to a match thinking she may see a lot of violence thanks

Iam not deluded enough to want to play pompey. They need somewhere to target their ire and a match with us could become pretty nasty off the pitch. As for a game of football, I do not feel we are ready to take them on, and hope to go out to another.

If he had been allowed to sign and they had missed the small print that could have sent them into admin, as they would have had to pay 250k immediately to Watford. How can the PL sit back and watch a club that is so patently unprofessional. All the millions of pounds they get in and something as simple as the checking of a contract gets missed until the final minute. It is incompetance. Storrie who is earning over a £1m should resign, as he should be where the buck stops. Interesting that they couldnt find anyone to speak to re james but instantly did when the contract thing sprung up.

dont forget they were going to sell 16ooo season tickets My info was less than 10k but of course Ho's in the know lol
-
Just what i was going to put. Fishy that, a bit of you scratch my back type of thing perhaps. Or does HR have a sell on fee if they get a profit. I know some managers do get a slice of any profit on players that are sold
-
It was 300 for the reading and 2,999,700 for the image rights
-
Thats why they dont agree to CVA's when you come out of admin if they have not been paid up
-
wonder what flavour crisps he would wish for. Fishy fingers perhaps

This message on there made me smile. 'Could it possibly have been that those officials at Fratton Park had other matters to deal with that were considered more important to the club than helping Stoke out of a hole? The word 'priorities' springs to mind' Does it not realise that to get rid of a high wage earner was a priority and then to think they were doing Stoke a favour Lol

The father will be jealous as well
-
'clubs owners' I thought Al Faraj had control.
-
You cant afford to pay us that much
-
the wages are due again soon aren't they? is it about the 25th?
-
I also believe he will, given time develop into a decent footballer. When he learns to be composed he will be a right handful to defences. Good luck and I do hope we have a sell on clause.
-
where does that come from?
-
I can agree with a lot he says. The bit about us is a tad unfair as the Skates got away with more when they went into admin. QPR probably would have died if it hadnt been for their rich owners. In the main though spot on especially the overpaid footballers stuff.

I assume you are kidding re the legal aid thingy

the thing that is inflamed about him is his price tag and reputation

Ho, Man Utd or Liverpool will ALWAYS find a buyer. I was surprised that the people who bought Man city didnt buy Utd but when you consider the Dr set the deal up then perhaps we can see why. Provincial clubs like SFC and Pompey only have a small handful of people who would ever look at them. PFC have 1 thing only and that is their PL status. nothing to do with history just PL status. We with our modern facilites etc were so close to be where you might be very soon...gone. For all our banter i dont wish that on you or most of the Skate fans but Iam torn to see the justice of the purchase of the FA cup using unfair methods of doing so by a complete overspend against all sensible financial methods.By using various ways to buy players most could only dream of or afford your club purchased success that was taken from clubs who played the game fair. I suspect many Pompey fans did worry but were swept up in the tide, thinking that gaydamek was willing to fund it himself. I am comfortable knowing that ML is running my club sensibly at the same time adding a few extra funds. Im sure if the boot was on the other foot you would be wallowing in it, and so allow us a little/lot of fun but at the same time most of us are torn between seeing the total demise or saviour. Im sure the next time your fans visit or you smash up your town I will regret having any sympathy.

that is a major reason to want them to fold IMO Singing about them lowers the tone of the day

He does look smug. You would have thought he would show some sign of remorse, even if he does feel he is innocent.

Those things are at work in every western economy. Dont tell me that Blair's sudden change of heart regarding Formula 1 didn't have anything to do with a donation that suddenly came forward. The state of Mass has been Democrat for generations. It is like a safe North East seat going to the Tories, however much they throw money at trying to convince the voters they would not change unless something dramatic changed their minds. It is not just about immigrants but also about the fact that the man in the street resents paying for others who have never paid in. As I put earlier, if we never had experienced the workings of a health service we would rally against paying a lot more of our earnings to seemingly gain less and at the same time contribute to what we may feel rightly or wrongly) unworthy benefactors.
-
of course you are an expert. I have many clients in Mass who were normally with Democratic leanings. They are up in arms about the thought of paying for other peoples health care.
