Portsmouths trophies in the late 30's and 50's were won by a different club. Portsmouth Football club. Portsmouth City Football club have won 1 FA cup and so it is 1 trophy each. If you do get wound up it will be AFCP no trophies. You surely would not say MKdons have won the FAcup or the Manchester version of your new club to have won the European cup and CL.

If you are in the BSL you will at first attract a lot of smpathetic attendees. That will soon wear thin and the crowds will drop dramatically. You are not sure to get the stadium and if so I cant see how you could fund it.It is a hungry animal and the rates and rent will cripple you.Dont forget they will not be part of the skelton you end up with but belong to third parties. To get to play higher league opposition you will have to beat thel ikes of Luton etc and they will have just as good a squad as yours. You may well be playing your games at havant or one of the other small non league grounds. You will NOT get crowds of 16k on boxing day or against higher league opposition in the cup as you cant NOW in the PL.(if you take away the away following) Many fans will not feel the same about AFCP and so a lot of fans will shrug their shoulders and give football a miss. A proportion will go to SMS ,Brighton ,Chelsea Millwall Reading etc etc to watch a better standard of football. The hardcore who live in that island you live in will of course be stuck with Pompey but after 6 months or so less than 6k will turn up

Has he been made to look a chump by Storrie and those wounds are deep enough to try and get to him this way.I have trouble following all this but Chanrai has been led up the garden path IMO and so he may well be looking to try and come out of it with something. Its all very confusing and until I read that PFC have indeed been wound up I will stay sceptical it will happen. They have had too much go for them for it to go bad.

Yep that is fair, the fact that the result was made null and void would be enough compensation to most, although I wonder if Claims Direct may be able to draw me a bit of dosh for the psycological damage seeing the Pompey fans celebrating, wherras if they had not had their illigally fielded players I would have been able to express my excitement......I can feel a depression coming on and those scars are going to have trouble to heal unless the correct medication is applied eg £10k

would it not be fair to say the timeline when they were brought to task was when it went to court and it was pointed out about their insolvency?

Mero, the having the stadium is a nonsense, when we were in admin it was reported out council tax was £1m pa, even if yours if half that it is already an unsustainable cost. i do hope you do not let your heart rule your head and make sure if you are part of setting up this new club that you are assured that none of its debts get close to taking you personally down. IMo I would factor in crowds of 8-10k in the first quarter of the season but soon diminish to to 5k or below as the novelty of BSL sinks in , especially if the results donnot go your way.As for being too big for that league I suggest Luton would have a say about that. They have a good following and also were a sizable club not long ago. Be careful how you set the new club up. I would be sad to see you damaged.

I have been told Pompey will be getting a new shirt sponsor in the next 48 hours....Vanish

But we would not have been beaten, we had been beaten by a team playing inelegible players and breaking the rules of the competition. We would be the team who were beaten after the wrongdoing had been brought to light. Frankly i dont care if we went back in or not. Justice would be served and that is what i care about more....also the result would be expunged from history Lol

We are above those types of jibes. My team have the utmost morals, and would only be interested in ramming in 4 fingers....of kit Kat in one go. I have spoken to a friend at the club already and he has said i can have a room to myself so i can write out the team sheet and find a way to counter you next underhanded trick. I assume you will be courting the ref again, one swallow makes a summer and it seems that is all it needed on the night to make him sway his decisions your way

Blue Square is 2 leagues apart and so you may be right.

Without a doubt we have splashed he cash, there is a major difference we have in L1 crowds that many teams in the PL envy and an owner who can buy himself a few gems if he wishes. Your club of course are the beggars who have gone to the Ritz wearing an expensive ill fitting suit trying to blag a free meal and then asking the management to pay the bill at the same time begging them not to call the police. As for the finishing, you are spot on.

Your lack of gloating is not becoming Mack

anyone else get the text (forwarded to me by a saints fan who got it)about CilitBang and Pompey, they both can get scum out of a cup.
-
you won 4-1, the celebrations were muted and had nothing in intensity than the ones in 1984. I have not had 1 text from my skate mates gloating as they didnt feel that proud of the performance. Coming to a L1 club and playing for a break away goal, brave stuff

just seen the Storrie incident on South today, it is pathetic he is surrounded by stewards and a couple of fans are waving paper at him. How pathetic to whine about that
-
I wondered if the Storrie being attacked thing and hinm saying he was thinking of packing it in, is a cover for his resigning over the Vantis report. It would be a convienient cover
-
I was just up from the sheik and his money . Jacob and Story wouldnt look at him, wheras ML and NC were really loving it.

That's good to read Clapham. As for being wrong, I doubt people will hold that against you as you are only used to have to deal with liars, defaulters, shifty scam merchants and people unable to run a business properly. I doubt this lot is anything you have come up against in the past

Fantastic news and seeing that the Flying Finn is able to play again is great. He had a real serious injury before the last game and I was a bit concerned he might call it a day.Well done, i echo Andys sentiments that we should if possible keep to the main teams from last time and that the away team should be the home team this time. What about DrogBaj???? where is he?
-
Where is Clapham? I hope he is OK. He has been away from here for a while.
