  1. Seems that there are some who want to rock the boat. Being a club first type of supporter I will back NC. If Frannie really has thrown his toys out of the pram I would be surprised. We need the people who are steering us through choppy waters to have the spine to do so. If we lose a little ballast on the way then so be it. The last thing we need is stroppy fans having a go at the people at the top if they dont know the real facts
  2. Well i thought he should have been manager and argued for it. He is good building a promotion winning side...too quickly strangely enough
  3. You may be able to ask him yourselves if you go on Dannzy.com, I think it is his fan site, also has some of his songs on it!!!
  4. Disappointingly I have been told McClaggon may be leaving. I hope this turns to be untrue but i suppose he needs first team football so his career can grow
  5. Bell not such a numpty after all is he?
  6. standing under the west stand and hearing Mark Dennis shout at Steve Perryman 'Ill see you in the tunnel at half time' Perryman drained of colour and went missing for the rest of the game
  7. has anybody seen him play for us, and if so how many times? I know he is injury prone but until I have seen him play I cant comment on his ability. It is no use reading what other clubs fans say as Im sure we would have told the Spurs fans that Bale was class, Dean Richards superb etc etc and many would have told Stoke that Fuller and Delap were rubbish but are both integral.
  8. their future will improve if they stay up.All of a sudden they will have cash coming in from Sky and a comparitivily low wage bill. They are in a pivotal period where they can retrieve the situation or fold. I have maintained that they would stay up as there are so many poor teams. The Coyle situation could doom both of those clubs and wolves are looking weak.
  9. why would anyone buy Kaboul at this moment. Is he playing in the africa nations cup? Even if not there stillis a good chance that he will be bought for a low value soon. I dont rate him anyway, and HR unloaded him as soon as he had the chance
  10. fair play to them, they do have a good sense of humour
  11. I doubt there is anything that thy own that is not hocked over and above its worth. If Gaydamek let them out of admin with a CVA(as he is the biggest creditor) could that mean they would get the parachute payments the following season?
  12. there is bound to be some trick lined up
  13. Disappointing but his departue may mean a space for another
  14. I think that when you turn up and meet old friends your allegences would come back.It took a while for the new stadium to become home and so I suspect the same would be under a new name.
  15. Not today Im snowed in!!!
  16. Lol
  17. they did not sell 15k s/t's it was barely over 10k. So if they can sell more on matchdays they will have more money but not enough to pay the wage bill. I get your drift though
  18. is this for real????????? Last time they were in administration they told us to f### right off when help was offered. Ironic a Pompey fan begging by the TB statue. He was there when they disrespected the great mans name.
  19. Pompey whilst trading will not get penalised unless it is proved they have broken the laws of the land, or PL rules. That is correct ,but I suspect all deep down know that there is a massive can of worms, when opened could mean record penalties. It is not the fans who are at fault, but ultimately they are the ones who are really hurt. Look at Luton as an example. PS HR Gaydamek and the Arabs will walk away damaged financially but the fans who have invested their life in the club could be damaged without doing anything wrong. There is no justice, although they have the memories of their cup win
  20. That is something that occured to me some time ago. If they have promised future tv money against loans , only for the PL to have withheld it then it will make things interesting.
  21. if games are postponed how will that effect their cashflow????? It may of course be postive, they wont have win bonusses (ohh) and appearance money stewards etc. The african players will return as well for the games cancelled.
  22. when we were runners up I think you will find Shilts was our keeper.
  23. just underlines what a disaster Morans nightclub incident was. I also saw all the home games. Under the West stand in those days. The ground had a bigger capacity in those days as well. Phil Boyer a top player as well. Such good times to be a saints fan in those days
  24. that file that wasnt loaded properly last week must be massive, they havent got some dippy blonde trying to push a load of paper into the dvd player on the computer i assume
