  1. Yes 22 this season but if you are defending the high wages players get and we get back to having star players would you pay 35 upwards to watch them sitting on the northam.I dont think I will want to.
  2. It is not jibes regarding his age, it is pragmatic IMO.He is part of our history and that is the way it should be, it is ridiculous to want the old kitman back. Anyway Ill leave it there we were going to look forward and not back.
  3. Thats fair but would you pay 35 to pay towards their lifestyle?
  4. I heard that the club had orders in for them but until we had been taken over couldnt pay and so couldnt get them in.They will now be purchased and so soon to be wheeled out into the Megastore etc
  5. Ok, will you buy a season ticket to pay towards their living of around 700+ in the Northam? Ps are you coming back this season as we are not playing Plymouth
  6. He is close to retirment age isn't he? He has a job and that is good and Im sure he is a great bloke. I just cant see the reason to call for his return, perhaps now we have a wealthy owner he may want to do so. Id rather Pearson myself if we are going back to old faces.
  7. I dont know him, but we are talking about peoples living. It is not clear who is the current kitman and I suspect he is much younger and would lose his job.Is that ok on the basis that a man who is close to retiring comes back and somebody loses his job in a period when it is not easy to gain employment. How would you feel if people who have no knowledge of the situation were trying to campaign to get an older employee back to fill your job when no doubt you were doing as good a job if not better at a lower salary.
  8. thats fine but will you be happy to buy a s/t close to a grand to help pay for them to drive them? These people are in the main not very bright, cant kick a ball from 12 yards into a goal and have trouble passing the ball more than 10yards 60-70% of the time. I dont mind them earning a good wage but it is now getting beyond a joke.
  9. Watching John Terry driving his Bentley took me back to my youngdays watching our star player in the late 60's (the best centre forward in Europe according to Sir Matt Busby)getting into his old Jag, and driving off to live in his house in middle class areas like Pirrie Close in Upper Shirley. That was acceptable John Terry wanting to talk to Man city for 300k a week.I dont care how wealth our owner is I wont wish to pay £700+ a season to pay for people like that thanks
  10. I know he has been trying to work on his tracking back.He was caught napping away at Norwich where the player he was to mark was left to score and the following game v Swansea he let his player free to go on ummarked and score.
  11. Lol, thats right having a pensioner dealing with the kit and also trying to engage with young footballers. Lets bring back the old carpark attendant and the stewards who used to be there 20 years ago. It's laughable. Of course for the last 2 seasons we havent had a kitman and it has done it all by itself. No doubt the one there now has a wife kids and mortgage and is surplus to requirements, and doesnt need a job.
  12. Compared to Everton we are a snip. We dont expect success but live on a crumb of it.Everton will always be looking at their bigger brother, Man City likewise , it doesnt matter how much money they throw at it, it will always be Man Utd;'s or Liverpools smaller neighbour.
  13. Cotterill was said to be telling a few people he had the job if a certain consortium got the club. Sadly I dont knopw which consortium. It seems ML is deeply religeous and so is GH!!
  14. Alpine true sentiments for me. I as much as I wont like it am of the mindset to take what the new owners wish for be it Hoddle or Adams. I will have my reservations but I wish for a united fanbase with smiles not frowns. We all can make our own little contribution by debating fears and worries but not the bloody mindedness of the past.
  15. Fair enough, but it is opening it up for a lot of religeous jibes. You may not have meant it but i can see us going down a path that really is not needed. All IMHO of course
  16. GM lets not go there. Why use this site to make the man fell uneasy. It doesnt matter what his religeous beliefs are. I support your mindset normally bt this could be overstepping
  17. i used the phonelines. Very friendly and helpful. Got my 2 s/t's and he said they were really busy. It should be seen as good if we have to wait, I waited about 5 minutes. It takes about 5-10 to process and so we should expect to wait. I mentioned the online thing and the operator said it seemed a lot had been having problems
  18. Ive had enough of trying on line. I had a email this morning veryifying my username and password. I then tried to use the site and each time I get invalid message come up. I tried using my customer number as well as the username in the box on different attempts
  19. Ive had enough. It has sent me a new password and still i cant login. Thanks for your help anyway
  20. thios morning but I did try to use my old account and had trouble with that and so re registered. It is confusing when it asks for username when it means customer number. It may be obvious to software experts but dinlos not so easy
  21. Clapham, thanks for your reply.I myself have found your knowledge very helpful during the most stressful times in the takeover. Yes administrators are required and do need skills and are needed, sometimes though I feel that they can be the medicine that kills the patient.
  22. I have now tried the recover password bit and then that comes back with unable to match
  23. yep but that is a good question when dealing with me and online stuff
  24. I didnt mean about the initial thread,it is a general observation about a lot of rumours on this site eg my mum dad sister friend heard etc.
