On this occasion Alpine is correct. M Fry when he first arrived on the scene was impressive, especially in the way he was dealing with the league. I then said he was too good to be wasted as an administrator, then I got major doubts and posted so as he hesitated and did not take written bid on the table. Pinnacle pulled the wool over his eyes and his decision could have cost us the Swiss. They could easily have walked when he chose Pinnacle over them, where would that have left us then? Fry has many fans on here, you only have to see the abuse Alpine is getting to see that. When the final invoice of the administrator is published ( I assume it will be) then perhaps it will be seen how much he has earned by not being quick with his decision. May i also say it would not be Fry who found the Swiss, there would be contacts/middlemen involved.

and of course when they came out of exclusivity they wheeled out 'It may be Keegan' that again bought them time as well as it would have made the Swiss hold back as they would be seen as the 'bad guys'

Surely the fact that we were put into administration at that time was the kick in the guts the club did not need. We wanted to get a loan of a forward in, and were still very much in contention of staying up. Yes we may still have gone down but as soon as we got the -10 this or last the fight was gone. That decison potentially cost us our CCC status and the creditors a massive amount of money. It cost the shareholders their stake. IMO it was a very reckless decison at that time. I think that Richard Fry needs to have a hard look at himself , especially as he was in charge of giving the yes on player signings which untimately made us go into admin.

IYHO. I think you will find that there are many out there who do not turst his motives in the past. Anyway it is my opinion and whilst I adore my memories he helped give me in the 80's I have not enjoyed some of his other things. Daren Wheeler did put up a compelling arguement in his favour when he said he stayed with us for 12 years and that was something i did not appeciate. It still irks me that he was part of the England set up that picked Geoff Thomas over MLT when he was near his best add that to his sale of the shares at the soonest opportunity did not do him any favours.Anyway MLT will be eniugh for me as a figurehead.

Do you not realise how devisive LM is to the fan base as well? MLT still can do no wrong to hte majority of the fanbase IMO but LM just irks a lot of fans like RL does to others. I odnt believe we will need hiom if MLT is the figurehead.

Nothing is exact sciendce with these things as the jockey has a bearing as well of course. It was a good way of looking at itr and makes sense.Power at the rear of the horse means speed I assume. It also helps if you have an eye and experience of noting good horses.
