  1. Reading that, I thought that they have a decent set of fans on there. As dry as a dog t### in the desert.Except the one who talks a bloke looking over his shoulder while s#agg###, probably one of the ones who escape on here from there.
  2. In my opinion that was not written by a person who has never attended a PL game and not had an interest in football until recently.
  3. He disappears when the going gets tough aqnd then pops up when he has something to cling to. The s/t figures must be out there somewhere , his 'friend at the club' told him that they were at 12k and going to be 16k. I had it that they were only touching 9k a week or so ago. Im sure he'd have been back to tell us if his mate was right,or perhaps he is being humble in his victory. lol

    Adam Lallana

He [played better and did work hard. He is unbelieveably frustrating though. In the first half especially he did some greatstuff beatring players and making a position to pass a killer ball but took a shot instead of the more sensible option. He seems to have practiced his shooting in respect of a bit more power. Overall an improvement but he is not Zidane. If he has decided not to be a big time Charlie but a team memeber then great.I was sitting in the Kingsland corner and when he came to take a corner he was so out of breath he could hardly move across to take it.That was in the first half! He had just made a coupleof runs but it was surprise that a young lad was like that.
  5. So the papers are stirring the admin story but then oges out with quotes like that.
  6. I dont think that AP would have had the chance to watch Holmes in a proper competitive game.I also was hoping he'd get a runout and looked keen.Rasiak actually running was a revelation, he sprinted at 1 time
  7. I dont need to read that to realise it! The Branfoot saga was more than enough.Arrogant man IMO
  8. I am not complaining i was delighted we had such a good turnout. For me it was not having a beer but travelling 30 odd miles parking up and then walkiing to the ground.I was not expecting a queue that stretched back to the burgar vans...perhaps I got in the wrong line.lol
  9. it makes my skin crawl just thinking of him
  10. that is what happened. As soon as the game kicked off, we were told we could go to turnstiles and pay on the gate if we had the right money. Only to go into the Kingsland though.
  11. Am told that the players only get 2 comps now.About time to, I had friends who could give out 10+ a game.If people will only turn up with a freebie they are no good to us anyway
  12. For all who do not realise Phil was my opposing manager in the forum game that they won by scoring 2 goals in the last 3-4 minute3s.He made a switch of players during play, when the game had not stopped. He says he got permission from the linesman for ther sub to take place. The linesman obviously thought it was the player who had gone off the pitch was just going back on , not a substitution that would need a stop in play and the refs permission.(the same as a player coming back on of course) The sub was instramental in the immediate equaliser. As it was a paid for game as in you bought 45 minutes or 90 minutes as a manager your hands were tied to do any more than watch or do a scam like Phil played and it worked. Always be careful of a smiling assasin, lol. My team were cheated on the night of their much deserved win, for them i make the protestatins....and also my ego og course. lol Phil use your influence to get another game , mate.it was fun.
  13. he reminded me of BT but with a footballing brain.Very pleased although he did fade in the 2nd half
  14. give me a chance Iam illiterate in more was than 1.
  15. Lol trying 2 type on a blackberru while queuing and trying not to be seen ignoring the wife
  16. Stuill not in ground an it has. Kickes off
  17. Yep they do the best hedgehog burgers around apparently, just like their mama used to make
  18. Do you really think that RL would not have sold all and sundry to have saved his money if he had a sniff of losing it? I believe he would have moved hell and high water , and made sales of players to have avoided the possibility. Only RL knows that but there are a lot of odd goings on that have as yet not been explained. Anyway he is gone Enjoy
  19. I had been told that Pompey were interested in buying astake n Quay.Fancy buying a radio station, something different. That has now happened ?or was it PS and some others who did so? I was under the impression it wasn't PFC, but that was a few weeks ago andp erhaps he was just doing the preliminary groundwork.Considering the finances it is a strange investment at this stage. they still reported the takeover and that was not 100% correct
  20. The Quay understands, so a bit premature because I think the Quay also said the takeover had happened. All part of the give the fans hope while we are selling s/ts,all clubs cynically use these methods.I have not heard about Borre and so dont know if that is good or bad.Your forward did well saturday and Id never heard of him either
  21. If you keep that squad, I think you will stay up. You could lose a couple of players and still go into admin of course. If money is tight then the signings may not be made.It is not just a case of frees as you know there is a cost even to getting them. It also depends on the players mindset because with a much stronger side last season you plummeted. You need them to be focused.Distin IMO is very much a mood player, James is the best keeper around but he does go in spells of woe, he is your savior if he keeps his form.
  22. is that with a broken arm? Ok Lambert with a broken arm over stern without one
  23. I know you think RL is hiding under your bed but you do twist things to try and justify your ridiculous stance. Imagine you have your house but know you cant pay the mortgage, you do have a car and some valuable paintings. You may lose the lot but if you sell your car and paintings you still have the house you'd do so, or in your world do nothing and so lose the lot.RL has many assets he could have sold to hold on to his money if he knew there was the slightest chance of the club going into admin. in my opinion he would have sold anything to have saved the club from administration, if he had fair warning. It does not add up how things panned out.
  24. The paper also published only the heading to the piece, we don't know the full wording as far as Im aware as it may have been defamation.
  25. I think that is fair
