That is fair BUT the other teams around us have to do the same or very nearly.I dont think we wre far from being a good side, it was just some of the poor tactical decisions and substitutions that cost us dear.At one stage it looked that we were going to be 7 points clear of the relegation places. It means SFA of course but I sent a message into the camp asking what was the feeling and were they up for it and I have in the last few got a reply that they were.

Objecting not posting to add to the debate.Even H'ierTH

To be fair you rightly pointed out to me that DMG was 21 when i thought he was 19. most of the young players are in their 20's now and so should be ready to step up.i know I would be

Um if you dont understand what staying out of a thread is then you are not as bright as I had you down for.I made posts that were not to debate the thoughtless original thread but to offer my objections. Your smarm is not what is called for when I rightfully IMO made objections to the use of 50 redundancies to make a point either way.

LTC but the fans demand to hear the managers thoughts.Under Gb we were complaining he didnt speak. I think Wotte is changing things and there will be an improvement but he's only had 3 games.I dont care what others think about him with Jan. He is right we were talked about as one of the best footballing sides in the CCC. Ok it hasnt gained points but a slight change may make a difference. It hurts to see the fans give up so easily, where's the fight.I understand we have been kicked for a few years now, but the fans showed their fight last season towards the end and we need it again. The support at games has been brilliant, perhaps this site is not a fair reflection on our fanbase as a whole. We do have our very own 5th columnist whipping up the depression that doesnt help. Lord Hawpine calling from one of the Germanic states.

He cant win with fans. It would be better if he gave up like the fans on here.Down already,we are rubbish and all the other defeatist tripe. If this was 1940 this would be the French army forum

everyone has accepted we are in league one next season

Have all your other 5 posts been as positve? -
Thats true but again to be fair we haven't this season. That is what i was pointing out LC faced relegation in 1 season and if the Echo was being used as a tool to beat the club that should be pointed out as they used the term 'face relegation'

Wade if we go down and the chairman is gone would you contemplate coming back? Or is it down to the division we are playing as well.It is not a trick question -

Calvin how can you think that. This time last season we were about 7 points clear of relegation and other teams caught us.IF we could muster a couple of back to back wins then things will look different again.Wotte has been instilling into the players minds 'back to back, back to back' so they get it into their heads a positive.I expect we will get the posts saying the players think they have to stand back to back. There are 15? games left, we have many points to play for and a run will put us back into the scrap to go up the table. If at 5 tonight we are 7 points adrift and then next saturday 9 points adrift then i might change my mind of course. -
I suspect that you are jumping on a very false rumour. If they put the prices up it will reduce the s/t sales by at least 10%, so a false economy that RL will know is suicide. I expect theyu will not do early bird. It will be put over as 'to be fair we dont dont know what league we are in' It will give the club 2 options keep the prices the same if we stay up, or cut them if we go down. Then I suspect the early bird price of last season will be used if we are relegated.IMHO

I would have thought that HR will be getting called in again aswell.I wonder now that Storrie and HR's relationship has faltered recently if cracks will appear in their stories. Here's hoping. Storrie telling stories sounds good to me

I think it is a family club as you do keep it in the family there. Imtold that the Valentine cards from father to daughter has been selling like hotcakes at Clintons in Southsea

Beat me to it Ponty.

That is a bit like saying we have lost were only in the PL one season. It is turning the facts to support an arguement.Surely it is 2 twice in 5/10/13 I dont know how many years he was there. It could be said that LC faced relegation once in 1 season. That would be unfair, although a fact.

If they knew that their lives had been looked upon so lightly by a load of internet geeks, then they may well be.Forget not some of those would be fellow Saints fans.

i have stayed out of this thread because it is bordering on the distasteful.Alpine you have shown yourself up to be a pathetic human being who is peddling in the misery of people to try and make a lame point. I hope the day doesn't arrive when you are made redundant. If it does do not complain that a thread is put up on here glorying in the fact. Football is a game FFS, 22 men kicking a bag of wind, (not you). Those 50 people should be left out of your petty and pathetic and SFC campaign How about starting a thread up taking the p### about Fords making redundancies Im sure you can wriggle RL into it somehow.

considering VAT went down 2.5% since the last lot even if the club keeps the same price of S/Ts the price has increased. I dont believe it at all and of course there are 2 people who said no, what a surprise a rumour to cause even more resentment. Well i dont know the voting percentage on these things but 2 votes against the rest wont win.

we are not going down -
what type of sick brain uses the tragedy of 50 people losing their jobs and their famillies detriment to try and get polital points on an internet forum. LC and RL have made more money in their careers than 99% of people on here. No points can be made out of peoples misery over a damned game.
-
I think it is sad that redundancies are being used as an arguement in support or against any party. Pretty sad and pathetic thread. These are peoples lives that are being used as a tool for pathetic reasons.
-
Phoning Adams at his sons 5th birthday party to tell him he was sacked, lovely famil club even RL wouldnt do that. It is amazing that people want to buy Pompey when the could have other clubs. It always makes me wonder why.

but we are not going into administration whatever. RL (dare I say his name, or if you prefer RL with LC's ideas)has cut the clubs losses. IF we stay up the club will be better equipped to build on what we have. Some more of the big earners will be gone in the summer and then we can do what other clubs in this league have to do is live within your means. If we go into administration the ground that we have paid a large amount of money bck on will drop into the lap of Aviva.Instead of owning the stadium in X amount of years we will be paying renyt on it.i doubt that the rent would be very much less than the repayments as it is an asset that Aviva have paid £20 m + for and so will need a return on their money. So immediately the major cost to us now is still there. It is paramount that the fans see that if we stay up administration could be a worry of the past.A new tv deal starts to come into play and our squad would have cut its teeth in this league ready and better prepared for next season. If we stay up and results improve the gates will increase slightly and we can then build from there. For all you who are prepared to lie down and die because we are 4 points adrift i worry for you. i know Im more optimistic than many but i can see that we are far from over at this moment in time.If we lose the next 2 games and say 8-10 points adrift then i will be more understanding to the idea of administration.I will still go next season if we have been in administration and the team has been stripped of AS, KD, AL and all the rest and we have Pulis and co as our star players due to the rest being sold by the administrator.
-
interesting that Wotte said because of the internet first. Saga getting in trouble as well! I had mentioned on here a togetherness in the squad and Wotte alludes to that.I am starting to think he is getting better and what he says is correct. He may just be getting through to the players.

I would and I suspect the many hardcore fans who are saints fans, the plastics deserted us ages ago.
