You forgot Askham and some others. The fans in the main are decent people who only want a club we can be proud of. I still feel more for the current team than I have done so for a few years. It is the manager who needs to be gone and RL has to show leadership and move him on.Yes he will get flak as peopl will say it was his mistake, but he has to be above that and make the decision. A change of manager who may galvanise the team will bring us to safety and so relieve the pressure on him.

That scenario is just what we kept hearing for the last 2 years about our takeovers. Are you serious when you are saying that you believe that they are going to pay £60+ m. I think you will fiond that even Gaydamek said he wanted 20m so it doesnt add up. These rumours will drive you mad as they did us. I would think that the Rand was too weak for them to be splashing too much cash at present. Adams will not last I agree with that, he is a little unhinged IMO. You need to get things on an even keel quite quickly or you will be in the scrap at the bottom not the top.I had you down for at least 8th but the way things are looking iot may be 13th or worse.

madness, have youy seen Robesrtson play? -
I agree with Matron, I have questioned Lalana but mainly in pointing out the unfair criticism of DMG. Both have been thrown in and up againsyt more experienced pros who know how to stop them.

I dont think you should go on tour with material like that UM, keep to the stuff you did the other night. PS It did seem to me you were trying to scoff at my post but we all have different ideas of humour. -

Your wording was not clear, working with the coaching staff is not how most would have put it.I suggest most would have said , my nephew is part of the youth squad. He hardly works, he trains or is that not the buzz word these days -
Amazing, considering the results and that the thousands who would not put money in RL's pocket. I for 1 am pleased, the club has had a windfall and we get a full stadium, thats where the good news stops though. Can we give them a bye now and not have the mauling imposed on us?

NP had the advantage of not only some of the highly paid players but also the loaning of some more. I dont know the financial situation at SMS but the figures produced recently show we are in the mire. How you get quality of player and low cost I really dont know. What we need need I believe is a better qualified manager to instil the faith and confidence back intothose players. Has Jan got the qualities to egt them playing again? I dont believe so. -
My cousin lived in Lordswood in a house that would be 25years old approx with a straight staircase with no turns. The chair was used once to take her downstairs as she went to the hospice. As for cleaning it, as her husband rightly said and with further upset to her memory that 'she didnt die of leprosy'. I understand BTF and her loyalty to the local government, we both have different perspectives to the situation. I cannot see how the seat and motor could not be utilised even if the straight rail might not fit in with health and safety. I do hope people who make excuses for this waste do not get on their high horses about Global warming and the carbon footprints we all are leaving behind. Forget not this waste is costing us all including the very poor

Jeesh have you got me wrong.A pacifist and politicallt correct lol.Extreme rasism is something im against, apart from that Iam more right wing and get sick and tired of all the Liberal ways that have been forced on us. You really believe that 15k will turn up in L1!!!! We dont have that now.If we do as Leicester are doing then we will get 15-22k if as I think we will do in L1 and the crowds will be 9k or lower. Where is Fulthoprpe? and Salz all these people have raised our hopes of ridding the club of the rotten core but no they sit on their hands and are either waiting for us to be picked up for peanuts or are just all talk and in turn causing more instability. I still think this yungside can stay up comfortably but we need a manager who has got steel drive and vision to get them playing to their potential.Jan I find difficult to understand what he is trying to get across and I suspect thep layers dont get it either. -

Snowballs you get confused with being even handed with defending. You and others told us 'anyone but RL' We were grandly toold that we had our club back and it was football first. You wouldnt listen and seem to have not learnt from your mistakes. If you really believe that Administration would definately rid us of RL etc and we would be better off, then you are not as bright as you think you are. Whatever happens we may go down, whoever was chairman would see crowds drop to under 9k. many who bang the drum against RL dont ven go to games and so if we went into administration and the best players given away it would not effect their enjoyment or quality of entertainment as Teletext is just as exciting if you are in the PL or L2. I go to home games and pay my entrance fee to watch the club I have supported for 40 years. If we go down so be it, I will be a mug who still will go and look forward to better times, not sit at home and wait until then. I never have gone to games thinking who is the chairman as i dont think it matters as much as who is on the pitch or manager.I understand that the chairman picks the manager, but a manager can be good at some clubs and useless at others. The divisiveness has been self induced, from day one many didnt like him due to various reasons and use him for a blame culture that effects our society more and more. I will say again let him go I wont miss him but if so demand that they all go lock stock and barrel because they all have had their part to play in the disgusting fall ofr our club. -

but how do you know.If NP had the same constraints and couldnt play the 'star' names I doubt he would be better or worse off. It is easy to pluck him out of the air and make these grand statements. he failed to gain fantastic results when he was here and forget not the home game against Burnley and the away game at Cardiff where they were gimme games as they were protecting themselves from a cup final and the other going through the motions as they had nothing to play for.We were saved with only 20minutes to go.It was hardly fantastic stuff. He also had the advantage of getting some very high paid players on the books for those games on loan -

If that was the case then Woodford should have gone when LM got us relegated. Efvery PM would last less than a year. All businesses make howlers but it is not the main man who in t5he main loses his job. I think that as people depise RL so much they do not use even handed arguements. Who appointed G&D last season, I think it was LC (I may be wrong) but whoever should have resigned if you are going to use the same arguement on RL. Ps Sad old git alluded to your nephew, is he someone at SMS? -

they bought to call air sea rescue then -
I went to my cousins funeral friday. While I was there I was speaking to her husband and he told me. The week before she passed away a stannah type lift was fitted at her house by the NHs. It was used once and last week it was removed and thrown out. Her husband told them to be careful as it was brand new and he was told it was to be dumped!!! This is madness, as her husband said she didnt die of leprosy. My cousin's sister is going to write to the NHS and complain about this terrible waste of money.

If it was LC or any other chairman I doubt you would think the same. Has the Charlton chairman left yet? I would love the club to be rid of the lot, lock stock and barrel.Do you wish the same? Who in the board do you trust? I see a lot of chaff there. -
I think we will be hamered and humiliated on tv . It doesnt bear thinking about, I will go with hope in my heart but I dont expect to be there at the final whistle.
-
I cant recall saying NP not agreeing to work under constraints but we dont know how the interview went. i do accept that he was not likely to get the job as it appears Jan and co were already pencilled in. I do agree that NP is doing well at Leicester but I think he has a tremendous squad for that league and so it is hard to tell. i do know that this league is not rocket science, you need a lump at centre half a muscling lump at cemntre forward and then a team of footballers around them. I love the beautiful game and want to watch good football but that is falling apart as the players seem to be losing faith in Jan.

I agree Jan is not the man for the job. If RL acts decisivily in the next week or so, any new man has more than enough time to get us out of the mire.If he appoints a backroom replacement then that is foolish. Again i dont know what the club can afford at the present. -
I dont know who would be better. I still stand by the fact that RL's main objective is to stave off administration. He saw a way of doing so and implimenting them. I have always been doubtful about Jan but tried to give him a chance. I have given him until christmas and now believe he is not up to it.Rupert Lowe it is time to act.

I do hope you dont mean me Ump as I have no contact with any of them, thankfully. Im still smiling from your posts last night, they really did cheer me up and brought me out of my bad mood before i went out with friends.

I think the major thing I dont agree with on DW's post was that the board got us relegated. They were a part not the whole. We had so many reasons, and we were relegatred by the fact we didnt score 1 more goal home or away at WBA. The margin was so small. Everton and Arsenal (Wigan and Hull in recent history) are the only teams never to be relegated, it happens. It was probably the worst period in football history to be relegated when we did, but there are many factors for have been so. -
for me I dont point the finger at one person and think if he goes all is then hunky dory. It would gall me to see RL go and then know that the rest of the crew who hide in the shadows are stil there enjoying their perks and privilages. I cant see that any of them deserve to be there and the lot without exception should go (although i do believe LC is the closest to the others to put his money where he mouth is). The last lot lost the biggest opportunity in the clubs history and so they should hang their heads in shame. The only clever thing they did was to muddy the waters so the fans didnt really fully believe that there was PA around. I would point to who did say he was Lc and a highly respected journalist put his reputation on the line. I know many will scoff but that serves the old board well that fans do.

thanks for that OSM, your ramblings make Cantona seem coherent.
