Think we’ll miss Fellows as much as we missed Scienza the other day. Norwich aren’t great but have improved over recent games under new management. I don’t think we win this, maybe a 1-1. Think some people getting very carried away.
-
There should have been a defender there on the attacker to clear the way. His failing there was not commanding a defender to come and help him.
-
Yeah that’s been on the cards for a while. Incredible really.
-
Can’t be that surprised in view of whose posting it 😉

In fantasy world, you’d get a GK, Striker, CB and someone who can replace Scienza effectively (and ship out a load -any of the current GK’s, Edwards, Matsuki, Aribo, Downs, Edozie etc.) In reality I don’t expect us to do much at all, which will be a shame.

He needs to be protected at all costs, as without him we’re nothing. But another 10mins or so and the games probably dead.
-
Think the game management issues are several; - he’s trying to save the legs of our best players, but is making the changes too early - once you drop a gear or three, it’s very very hard to get that back, so if a team gets on a bit of a roll it can be hard to arrest - managing the game out with only two in midfield is a problem - the quality of replacements is not close to the same level - Aribo still gets on the pitch The positive though is it’s another win and we can still be much better. I’m hopeful with more time Tonda will adapt as needed. 4 wins in a row at home, can’t remember the last time that’s happened.

This new found confidence across the fanbase is unsettling… Add the negativity of the baggies fans and everything points to a frustrating evening. 😊

Would love to see a new GK, new ST and a shit load of outgoings. If being greedy, a clone of Leo as well. We’ll be lucky to bring in one I suspect.

Yep it was Fletcher who suffered with that. Do seem to recall him getting it under control though and kicking on, so hopefully Flynn can do the same. I’ll hold my hands up, I’ve questioned his attitude so my apologies to him for that - must be awful trying to manage this. Although I still stand by that he threw his toys out post RM leaving and trying to fashion a move last January.
-
Feels like he’s been bought back in purely because he’s getting paid a meaty salary so we want something for our money. But it’s time to just pay him off and be done with it. The fact he wears number 7 adds more insult. He doesn’t want to be here, we don’t want him. See ya.

Former Villa player puts in a shift against Birmingham. Let’s see if he brings the same attitude to other matches. Based on what we’ve seen so far, I’m not holding my breath.

I personally think (and have always felt) that Ipswich would be a shoe in for an auto place. They’re nicely positioned and seem to be finding another gear. I reckon they’ll win the league. Coventry have got a buffer and have played well so far, be interesting to see if they can keep that up when injuries and suspensions mount up. They’ll be disappointed if they don’t get autos now. If Tonda can keep it up then we’ll be in with a shout. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if Us, Ipswich, Sheff Utd and Leicester all end up in top 6, which is exactly what you’d expect with the financial arrange we all have.

I must have missed your posts about all the positive bits then, my bad.
-
Lol, do you ever post anything positive? If you can’t enjoy a deserved 3-1 home win then why bother.
-
Agree with this. People putting points parameters on the next 2/3 games, “he should be getting a minimum of x”, “if he achieves Y he should get job” etc - I just want to see continued improved performances. It’s been such a long time since we’ve had that and certainly not seen any of it this season. If the performances continue in same vein as Saturday, then he probably deserves the job (points gained or not).
-
Pffft, I think the warning signs were there when he first played Football Manager.
-
Hanging out the back of Russell?
-
So what, we’ve got defensive issues ourselves in that our GK and most of our CB’s are shit.
-
Surprised you’re not more impressed, considering it was against your mate Nath.
-
Blimey, perhaps the players DO actually like playing for this guy.
-
Hard to know how we will cope playing against a team managed by one of the fittest humans in history and pound for pound best manager on the planet. Dont think we’ll get near them. 2-0 defeat.
-
And if we have to wait until after the international break to get a ‘good’ manager then so be it. I don’t get the fuss about getting someone in by Tuesday, as if it’s going to make or break our season.
