Tend to agree. We’re in all likelihood getting relegated this season, it’s such a big ask to stay up nowadays. Let’s see how we go, we’ll lose a lot more than we win so need to stick with them. Also, this lot seem a much more likeable bunch than we’ve had for a while and they seem ‘together’ so hopefully that may count for something.

Which bodes the question, where on earth will he go? Could we genuinely end up in a situation where he goes for free at the end of the season? Because he’s never going to sign even a one year extension to get us some money, because no one wants him seemingly in his current contract situation.

Wouldn’t fork out £15m for KWP though..

Thought we played well for first half hour, especially considering that’s majority of the ‘B Team’. Their (very good) goal killed our flow and didn’t really hit our stride after that. Positives:- Edwards looked good, as did Charles. Dibling seems to get better each game. SAA tricky but needs a right foot. Lovely goal by BBD. Negatives:- McCarthy, standard. Wood looks poor, slow, lost every header to much smaller players, doesn’t seem to be able to time a jump. Taylor, not seeing it tbh - left back is a major issue. The pitch.

Not sure Dubravka would be much of an upgrade tbh. Several years ago yes, now not so much. Would be very underwhelming.
