I don’t think there’s such a thing as passing a medical. Physios / Doctors run the rule over the player and make a recommendation on fitness to the club. It’s the club that then decides whether to proceed or not. Gary Lewin said this on a podcast - am sure it related to Marc Overmars.

They also had this story yesterday. There is a world outside the forum where you can find information. If you’d checked that, you’d have seen that Arsenal have said they’d want an option / obligation if they were to loan Ramsdale out as they wanted a sale. So if (and still not convinced it’s true) we’re pushing for him on loan, it was always going to need an option or obligation as Arsenal want him sold.

Hmm, when we’re sailing close to the PSR line and every penny we have really needs to go towards trying to stay up, wasting £7-10m on a fee to the benefit of Goztepe I don’t get. Dont mind freebies or cheap gambles, but this feels like a step too far.
