Have got Swindon connections so have seen quite a bit of Ritchie, easily good enough to be a regular in a mid to lower Championship first team squad.

it's amazing how 'rightys' are so pr1ckly and moany.

Surely if Birch did the due diligence for CSI when they bought Pompey then he would already have alerted them that the debenture was dodgy? Birch may inspire more confidence than Android but he's also playing some games here f'sure.

Say what you want about Corp but you have to simply admire the man for his sheer beligerance and self belief. Considering how many times he's posted ******** rumours, made out he's in the know, ignored questions he can't answer and just been plain wrong, and yet he keeps coming back for more and looking like a dickhead for our amusement. Thank you Corpy. Thank you.

at least he managed not to call anyone a " 'tard ".

I might be being pedantic but where does Toomer say that Southampton is less deprived than Portsmouth? Considering how wrong you've been on countless occassions it is interesting to see that you've moved from bull****ting to satire in your attempts to keep us all amused.

Yet you're happy for your wife to be a much stronger influence on their belief system?

blimey, been away skiing for just over a week and there's far too many pages to catch up. Any recent gems from our resident skates that I've missed? any views on the prospect of further points penalties?

Did the Pompey Online forums and 200 Percent articles mention all those figments of your imagination - the Chinese/Scandinavian/African billionaires rich beyond our wildest dreams - that you regularly use to come out with?

Mental things you did when you were younger

I once ate a whole battenburg cake in one go. -
If he wasn't a cheeky chappie media favourite would there be such a clamour for redknapp? Of course not. Hodgson for example has got a much better range of experience and success but he's got zero charisma. Personally I'd prefer a foreign manager because there really aren't (m)any decent English candidates.

Is it? A chief exec isn't doing his job if he carries on blowing smoke up the owners arse while he runs the business into the ground. If Storrie had any integrity he'd have resigned not long into the Gaydamak regime. Let's not forget that Storrie was also completely complicit in the over-spending despite what he might like to portray retrospectively e.g. he was heavily involved in the crap contract negotiations which meant that the cup win actually cost more than in brought in. The likes of the kit-man being paid well into six figures was all Storrie.

I mostly dislike Redknapp for his shameless self-promotion which very rarely gets picked upon by the media. You know the sort of thing "when I took over we were crap, look where we are now" or "I never talk about other teams' players but......" or "I never talk about refs....". His abject failure at Saints is also massively glossed over. He even tries to take credit for Bale - the fact that Redknapp dropped him and was only forced by injuries to put him back in is completely glossed over. The way that people harp on about him you'd think he was up there with Fergie. For all the money at his disposal he has one FA cup to his name. That is all. Capello is recognised around the world as a brilliant manager and has won league titles and the European Cup. And yet people think that one cup Redknapp is going to do better. Maybe we don't win the big matches because we're not good enough?!

Yep, not guilty.

The main things that I conclude from looking at the reaction to the Redknapp news via Twitter (I'm not a "user", just went on there briefly) is this: 1. The vast majority of people on Twitter really are stupid. 2. A surprisingly high proportion of people seem to like Redknapp (explained by 1. above). 3. A surprisingly high proportion of people want him to become England manager (explained by 1. above).

It was more than £20k.

Blues v Saint - A Brummie reaction
anothersaintinsouthsea replied to Brummieinhants's topic in The Saints
Agree with most of the comments on here. Thought we played well outside of the attacking third but in those conditions it's crazy that we didn't try and test the keeper with some long range efforts. -
Just sent a complaint to Mike Hancock

They'll miss the walk-up ticket sales which I'm guessing will be a big chunk of the non-ST holders plus they'll miss the spending on refreshments and in the club shop.
-
FFS Dein's name was mentioned weeks ago in some of the crap rumours that came to nothing. Pompey fans are getting so desperate for new interest that they have begun to recycle the crap rumours.
-
I doubt it. Any party with a liability would get a vote, even if that liability wasn't past due.

Come on you prosecution!

feck me that is sooooo desperate. have they no pride?
