Funny as St.Marys is one of the least "soulless" stadiums I have ever been too. Generally the Saints fans are good at whipping up an atmosphere and the ground holds the noise in really well. I didn't go today but I can imagine it was similar to the Galpharm and Rebok in that all the noise disappears out of the roof. Give me an attractive 30,000 seater over a lopsided, over priced 22,000 seater everyday.

Glad I've got more important things to worry about over the coming months because this collapse is a bit hard to watch isn't it? But hey lads, we were promoted from the division below last season and sit top at the start of the following calender year. Adkins can turn this run round. COYS.

The USA, Vietnam and Bolivia specials were fantastic. The Albanian one was a bit meh, far too scripted, the Indian one was terrible, they are terrible actors and that is what they were asked to do in this episode. Really got on my tits.

Unlikely. The BBC aren't running the football league show today so won't be filming for a "featured game" (which is where the streams came from earlier in the season bar the odd Sky game), and all the Sky cameras will be at the Premiership games.

Think the players (and fans!) would have got a nice little lift from the days results elsewhere. Brighton lost to the bottom side, this can only bode well for our trip to the plastic card arena on Monday. How many players do they have out now?

Being one of about 500 to witness Oldham away in January - Oldham Athletic 0 - 6 Southampton. I was pinching my self when the 4th went in, and the 5th, and the 6th. Leeds on the opening day was brilliant, seeing a Saints side move the ball around like that, all the while making Leeds United look totally stupid - biggest goal celebrations of the season so far for me, becuase I just didn't know what to expect!

I'm with St.Marco on this one. From next season we are getting sub-standard F1 coverage and they are jacking in coverage of the football league. I understand the need to use licence payers money wisely but these are two of the most watched programs the BBC has outputted over the last few years, surely licence payer enjoyment has to come under consideration here? I know most people wouldn't give a flying one, as long as bargain hunt and Eastenders continue to get churned out, but its us blokes that are suffering the most. Why should we have to PAY to watch...nothing at all? Granted, I do like watching MOTD, but apart from that, the BBC never gets a look in (bar the odd documentary). I wouldn't be upset if the licence fee was reduced and the BBC started showing (some) adverts, if it meant we got to keep seeing top sport on the BBC.

Yep if this was 07/08 he'd be great cover for Lambert, its not though so it does seem a bit ridiculous!

Looks like a right bargain that one.
