Agree with the Hooiveld sentiments, he was awesome. Martin had a good game too. We looked guaranteed to concede at one point in the first half when Harewood was one on one with KD, he was just about to pull the trigger when Hooiveld came from no where and put in the best challenge I've seen....maybe ever, to put the ball out for a corner. Ok maybe I'm over doing it, but trust me, it was ****ing awesome. Lallana was back to his brilliant best. Morgan, Cork and Hammond all had great games, the movement and interchanging was a joy to watch, so fluent, and BRILLIANT to see them shooting when they have the chance. Guly put a great shift in, DC linked up well with the midfield. Struggling to think of a dodgy performance really! Who needs a right back when you've got Dan Harding eh! Loved it.

I got absolutely **** faced last night so I'm worried about driving down to Nottingham now. Dunno what to do! :/

I actually think Star Wars is a genuinely crappy film.
-
This is a wind up right? Pulp fiction is one of the best films ever made IMO. And if you don't get / appreciate A clockwork orange, then I feel sorry for you, I really do.
-
******** I was hoping we'd get loads up here for that game but we'll get **** all now.

Yes the films are impressive, since the 3D ones were made with 3D in mind. Once the streaming services like netflix and lovefilm start to stream HD/3D content maybe it'll be a bit more worthwhile, because at the moment the cost of signing up to Sky World, or the rip off price of 3D blu-ray doesn't make it worth it at all.

£5.99 a month, unlimited streaming to anything on the site. If the selection was kinda ubiquitous like it is in the US it would be outstanding value for money. Fingers crossed it improves.
-
Selection is REALLY ropey now yea. I'll keep tabs on it to see if it gets better. No harm in using the free trial though!

Players just trudge off at the end, don't even look bothered. Polite handshakes all round, don't even clap the away fans! Old people football is WEIRD!
-
This season we've been (from the ones I've been too) Loud at Leicester OK at Derby Quiet at Burnley Terrible at Donny TBH I've not done a northern ish away game where the fans have been awesome. Going to places like Watford, Reading and Brizzle the fans are bang up for it. Saying that Oldham in 09 was good, as was Walsall that season.
-
Cool so we are taking decent numbers to the midlands again. Be good if we can all really get behind the team this time, last couple of away days oop north have been disappointing.
-
Tickets still available online, think Forest sent us just over 2000 tickets so I'd be surprised if we shifted that lot!

Sorry guys I ****ed up :( starting the build up thread was just too much pressure!

I was there too, only a short hop in the car for me! I was stood in front of Mark Chamberlain (Oxo's Dad) and I assume his brother. He kept moaning about Oxo (as Dads do at football!) but was chuffed when he knocked in the first. I was pinching myself when the 5th and 6th went in. I enjoyed the 3-1 the season before more for some reason, it was a tighter game and when DC banged in the third we all went ape ****!

Fair enough if you use trains a lot I'm sure its a bit more exciting! Rail fairs make me a bit sick to be honest, works around the same price for me to run a car for a year than to get the train back home only when I have too (Huddersfield to Southampton, xmas / easter / summer - £230 return if I buy it on the day). Anyway that is beside the point. Woooo Thomas the tank engine and that.

30 billion quid for a 30 minute improvement? So a (probably more than) billion quid a minute. Don't see the point myself.
-
EDIT just looked at his profile he's not a drunkerd so be nice. I would stay a Saints fan mate, 500,000 doesn't cover the hole in my life Saints would leave!
-
Right, seeing as I just spaffed £30 on a ticket for this game I thought I'd start a thread for it! I ummed and arred for a while about going but after Saturdays win I decided to nab myself a ticket. Looking forward to it now having never been to the City Ground before (done Notts County though so finding it should be easy enough!). Is this our strongest available team? -----------Davis Richardson - Martin - Hoiveld - Fox De Ridder - Cork - Morgan - Lallana Guly - Connolly If José is fit he will come back into the side, and the above assume Guly, Conners' and De Ridder are all back fit too. If not, we will look a bit light weight. Forest have picked up (a little bit) having been on a terrible run of form over the xmas period, getting a draw in the cup against Leicester at the weekend, and a first League win in ages the weekend before that. I'd take a draw from this one, but given that forest have proven them selves to be slightly lacking under Steve Cotteril so far, maybe we could go all out for the win.

Nope not yet Hatch.
