Carlisle 3 - 2 Saints - post match reaction.
Saint_Jonny replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
lol £20 match ticket + petrol VS buying a new car! I know your only joking mate, but I wish I could have a new car! I'd do dirty horid things for something more reliable! -
I hear you on the phone memory / mass memory problem, its the same on the 5800. From what I can tell the mass memory and the phone memory on the N8 are one and the same, at least thats what I gather from looking at the spec sheet. Im pretty much sold on the N8 now... will have to go around the town and see who I can thrash the best deal out with, always room for a bit of bargaining in those mobile shops!

Carlisle 3 - 2 Saints - post match reaction.

I had a really shocking day. Car broke down twice, alternator packed up on the way there (RAC replaced it), front right blow out on the way back. Saints lost and the day ended up costing me over £200. I'm supposed to be a ****ing student. **** off Saints. -
God boxing is boring. That was rubbish. He Harrison just stood there doing **** all, why didnt he try to hit him? Makes no sense to me, ive been in better fights than that, and im a ****ing pussy. LOL at anyone that PAID to see that!?!

Anyone got one? Thinking of upgrading from my Nokia 5800, really enjoyed having this phone, with all the firmware upgrades its a good little phone to use. From what i've read the N8 is this format perfected. On the flip side (and its a struggle for me to say this....) ive been looking at, you know, other smart phones, that aren't, erm, Nokia's. Wow, I said it! That was tough. Anyway, looking at these other devices, the overall impression I get is that the UI on Android and iOS devices is better than even the latest ^3 version of Symbian. From my point of view, I'm perfectly happy using a Symbian device, it suits me down to the ground, im a computer nerd, a programmer, a designer, the only thing I can see my self missing out on if I go for the N8 is the array of 3rd party apps available for Android and iPhone.

Someone starts a thread about a wikipedia page and suddenly Saints are about to abandon a lovely new stadium and build a new one. Some people will belive anything.

I absolutely understand that they have a right to protest, and spout what ever crap they want, I just dont think it should be aloud. For the simple reason that they ARE in the minority, and what they are doing WILL insight racial hatred in "thick" circles such as mine, and of course it offends anyone who has connections to the armed forces, or god forbid lost a loved one some time in the past. For the poppy burning bastards OWN safety, and for the sake of racial equality in our less well educated areas, they shouldnt be allowed to protest like they are.
-
You decide... Personally, as much as they are entitled to their opinions, I hope they all get blown up the next time some religious extremest decides hes had enough of living, on the bus they are on, probably going to the job they DON'T have. ****s. That is all.

Yep, I watched MOTD too. He made me properly irate. If I saw that happen at st.marys to one of our lot I dont think he'd make it out alive. Hes a disgrace, a horrible little bastard and a bad influence! god I sound like an old man...

Button: "Alonso title win would be tainted"
Saint_Jonny replied to Sheaf Saint's topic in Motoring Forum
I'm backing Mark Webber for the title! COME ON MARK!!! Might put a tenner on him, and have an ozzy F1 party on sunday, god ill miss the F1 when its not on, almost as bad as the footy close season! -
Hopefully it'll be the start of a fascinating journey for you Bridgey! Good to get in the habbit of, when you wonder "how did that come to be?", going home and getting on google and reading up on whatever it was that made you ponder! I usually end up going off on a tangent and learning about all sorts of random ****.

Clicked it. Volume was up. Scared me.

Damn got to this thread late! Couple of my fave moment in my time supporting Saints (All CCC and L1 memories!) Rasiak in extra time at Derby County jan paul saeijs' free kick at the death at Watford away, last minute goals away from home...nothing better Lambert vs the skates, gave us hope... Stern Johns double VS Sheff United Rescued at the death by a Swiss hero.

Both dislikeable little so and so's but you wouldnt say no to having the pair of them in our team thats for sure!

Im with you. We dont even know if the Leibherrs give a flying **** about us now Markus has sadly left us. We have hardly heard a peep!
-
Sorry mate but he said nothing of the sort. The question was put to him in passing and his words were something like "we would need to look into it if it came to it", nothing about "plans to expand", and when the interviewer said "maybe a possibility of moving completely" cortese pretty much laughed it off. Go back and listen to it. I think they only came to talk about it because the question was asked about building a train platform. Saints. Will. Not. Move.
-
The whole idea that Saints would consider moving to a new ground is totally ridiculous IMO. Think about it....Medium sized football club moves to lovely new stadium, the envy of half the clubs in the land, great facility's for matchdays / corporate stuff, good city centre(ish) location, less than 10 years old. Why on earth would the club risk getting into massive debt (and it would be MASSIVE, SMS was built for an absolute STEEL when you look at stadium construction costs in the last 10 years) and alienating some of the fan base by building a ****ty out of town stadium in a **** location? I mean, look at SMS, can you imagine bulldozers coming and knocking THIS down!? You are deluding yourselves if you think the club would go down that route. Even expanding SMS is a pipe dream.
