Alain Perrin Posted 30 June, 2009 Share Posted 30 June, 2009 And now, the end is near, and so we face, the final curtain. My friends, I'll say it clear, We'll go bust, of which I'm certain. We've played, a game of chance, we've signed loads but not Steve Highway. And now this, screwed by Le Tis, We did it our way. Regrets, I've had a few, but then again, too few to mention. We've boo'd, slagged off our players, everyone's fault, without exemption. We marched, sung Lowe out, some even wished, for administration, And more, we're out of cash, We did it our way. Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew, We'd walk the league, it would be a doddle. But through it all, when there was doubt, As Dalek says, if we'd appointed Hoddle. But we said no, and we stood tall, And did it our way. We've loved, We've laughed and cried, We've had our fill; our share of losing. And now, as tears subside, I find it all so amusing. To think, we did all that, and may I say --- not in a shy way, "Oh no, oh no not me, we did it our way".
