david in sweden Posted 25 July, 2009 Share Posted 25 July, 2009 2 full time Saints in the Community coaches, Andy Marks & James Baxter, have been appointed to work with the club's academy. QUOTE] Who appointed them ? one guess might be that they are " sort -of-local "- because you'd need to know the local junior scene a bit, and there isn't the same news coverage as there is for L2, Conference or local league sides. Neither name rings a bell for me ...we already have Dave Puckett (former Saints 1st teamer) involved with younger sides, maybe they're known to him? EastleighSoulBoy Posted 25 July, 2009 Share Posted 25 July, 2009 Andy Marks has been training the children at Cherbourg Rd school, including Chip (my nipper). He's keen on the job, very much likes doing it so this will be a promotion to him. Fair play to the lad!
Morph Posted 25 July, 2009 Share Posted 25 July, 2009 2 full time Saints in the Community coaches, Andy Marks & James Baxter, have been appointed to work with the club's academy. . Hopefully no relation to the great Jim Baxter. Remember seeing him playing for Sunderland at the Dell. Magnificent player, but unfortunately his lifestyle caught up with him.
