I know he has had a few injuries, but I think he probably moved too soon (we would say that though). Who else thinks he has delivered less than perhaps Nike and Arsenal thought?

I thought he'd have had more of an impact by now and, on the face of it, we got a very good deal (subsequent renegotiation aside).

i bet when he is fit he will be a regular starter though...for a team like arsenal, that is brilliant in itself

Arsene Wenger has been playing him on the wing for Arsenal in order to round his game more. He did the same wth Thierry Henry and when the time is right he will move him up front. Every player in the Arsenal team can play in two positions. This is exactly why he is playing on the right at the moment and not scoring the amount of goals everyone thought he would be. He is still one of their most important and popular players.

Theo Walcott was already a force to be reckoned with (in the CCC at least) before he left SFC - 3 years later under Arsene Wenger's tutelage he's still yet to feature in the EPL on a regular starting basis . I draw two possible conclusions from this :

A - Theo's not as good as virtually the entire English game thought he was or...

B - He's at the wrong club .

I'm going with option B .

Any young player eventually arrives at a stage in their development when reserve team football or a brief substitute appearance just won't benefit him anymore , to be frank TW reached that point years ago . With hindsight Walcott would have been better advised to have stayed at SFC a little longer or if the lure of the Prem was too strong a good club such as Everton for instance would have been a better move for him .

Still only 20 the best years of his football life are obviously still ahead of him and as he recently signed a 4 year contract extension clearly he's happy with life at Arsenal . Were I talented/fortunate enough to be in his position I'm not so sure I would be .

I think Wenger is handling him perfectly. He will score and create sublime goals at a club who play the most attractive football in the world.

Nicely put - Wenger is an excellent mentor for Theo that few players will ever have

He will be a brilliant player, he has already become a more rounded player then when he was the raw talent in the red and white.

Look what he did to the Croat's earlier in the WCQ's !!

I believe Wenger and Fergie are the number 1 managers in the prem when it comes to nurturing young talent, and Wenger is probably slightly ahead tbh.

If the boy can stay free from injury this year then i believe he will be a real force to be reckoned with.

England in a few years could be terrifying if handled correctly, what with young, lennon and walcott all up and coming.
