trousers Posted 31 August, 2009 Author Share Posted 31 August, 2009 (edited) I don't get it; what is it? The song 'Colours' was the official single written and recorded for the Saints Aid event. It's been latched onto by some german fans of Southampton based band 'Coast' and they've been promoting it over there via this web radio chart. All pretty inconsequencial in the general scheme of things but thought I'd mention it in passing given the Saints connection! To vote for the song, click on the link at the top of this thread and click on '+5' alongside the single to give it top marks. About time something Saints related got to the top of the table! red&white56 Posted 31 August, 2009 Share Posted 31 August, 2009 A good song but they sing about going down to the Chapel end and the Northam doesn't get a mention!

ART Posted 1 September, 2009 Share Posted 1 September, 2009 The Germans are really into Celtic Rock music as I pointed out last year when I posted about the Irish American group "The Kelly Family". They're really big over there so I'd love to see our own "COAST" do well too. Well done trousers for posting this story but somewhat disappointed at the response for our supporters in getting COLOURS to number One. We're more interested in Skates and unimportant issues. This is a great chance and shows what a big family Marcus Liebherr's family are in Germany You can revote every 6 hours so with a big effort we can easily put COLOURS to number One. Go for it lads, and you can also rate all the Saints videos of the song at Youtube too whilst you're at it. Southampton Boys Song
The Cat Posted 1 September, 2009 Share Posted 1 September, 2009 Maybe the reason people aren't putting much effort into voting for this song is because it's complete and utter tosh? When I listened to it I couldn't help but laugh. Ok, some people might like this sort of insipid tripe but if some Pompey fans had written this about their team it would get ripped to shreds on here. Surely Saints fans wouldn't be that shallow? Note to self: only listen to loud, grungy, shouty, moody guitar music in future to avoid being observed only liking insipid music. ;-)
