paulwantsapint Posted 28 January, 2010 Share Posted 28 January, 2010 I know that we all hate the skates but can we save the skate hate till after MK Dons JPT That way we can keep our powder dry for full force anti skate songs & chants?
Saint_clark Posted 28 January, 2010 Share Posted 28 January, 2010 Agreed. It's a massive game, but I still want to get to Wembley REALLY badly. To watch Saints play in the best stadium in the world would be amazing.
Tac-tics Posted 28 January, 2010 Share Posted 28 January, 2010 I remember playing FIFA and loving seeing Saints lift a trophy after, it's something I have never seen with my bare eyes. We really can do it this time. As a fan down this ****e hole Im getting alot of goading but just biting my tounge after the first initial insults, firstly, lets make the MK Dons a priority, its not everyday you see your side at Wembley. West End Saint Posted 28 January, 2010 Share Posted 28 January, 2010 I agree I cant even think about the Skate game until we have taken care of business against MK Dons for me the JPT semi is way more important I want to go to Wembley.I think it will be great if the team can deliver a trophy for NC & Marcus as a thank you for the way they are being backed. Also IF we get the result against the Dons it will give us a massive lift going in to the Skate game no pressure on the crest of a wave then smash the Cod snogging gippo's. fareham saint phil Posted 28 January, 2010 Share Posted 28 January, 2010 Good point, the MK game could be overshadowed and swept away if we are not careful, and a wembley final in any competition is an achievement, its been along time since we were at wembley and it would be a fantastic day for the younger fans. Living in Fareham and knowing lots of skates, we will need wembley to hold all of them that "already have tickets" and "I'll be there" blue few
dune Posted 28 January, 2010 Share Posted 28 January, 2010 Lets practise Skate hate at every game until the match itself :-) Practise makes perfect Precisely. We need to teach/learn the words to the songs. Every match between now and then is a rehersal for the main event.

Had it not been for the Pompey game the Brentford match would not have passed in whimper and we would be discussing extensively the Stockport and Exeter games. Given our league aspirations and their lowly status these are must win games not the Pompey game. By Valentines Day some of us may wake up and find a critical stage of the season has past us by unsuccessfully in a blue malevolent mist of our own making. Ash Posted 28 January, 2010 Share Posted 28 January, 2010 By Valentines Day some of us may wake up and find a critical stage of the season has past us by unsuccessfully in a blue malevolent mist of our own making. Is the focus of the discussion and level of excitement in the fan base directly related to how the team performs? On Tuesday night were the chaps thinking "I won't bother, the boys on SaintsWeb will only be talking about the Poopey game anyway"

The chances are we would not make the play offs regardless of our cup runs, so thank god we have managed to have 2 successful runs to give us something to truely remember this season by, I agree that the MK game should be the focus rather than the skates, that way even if the skates are beating us we can still sing Wembley songs in the knowledge that we are on our way there regardless of the pompey score.
