SNSUN Posted 4 March, 2010 Share Posted 4 March, 2010 He was my MOTM on TUesdazy night and fully deserves this award. He's clicked, and his attack with Rickie is looking awesome. Keep them both in the summer, and we'll be laughing. He had a slow start while bedding in, but proved his knockers wrong and is now flying. He's a real try hard. Foxstone Posted 4 March, 2010 Share Posted 4 March, 2010 Good man Barney ! He took a short while to settle but now that he has, he has struck up an excellent partnership with Rickie that has the potential to be our best striking partnership since our days in the Prem. Matthew Le God Posted 4 March, 2010 Share Posted 4 March, 2010 He was my MOTM on TUesdazy night and fully deserves this award. His performance on a Tuesday in March was irrelevant to winning Saints player of the month for February.
SNSUN Posted 4 March, 2010 Share Posted 4 March, 2010 His performance on a Tuesday in March was irrelevant to winning Saints player of the month for February. ...in terms of how good he's become in a short time! He's in great form.
yellow&blue Posted 4 March, 2010 Share Posted 4 March, 2010 Is it just me, or does he remind me of Gordon Watson when he used to play for us?
stardustonmyfeet Posted 4 March, 2010 Share Posted 4 March, 2010 Took a while to settle in? How many games did it take for him to get going, two? That hardly counts as 'a while.' Ricardo Fuller took a whole season to settle in...
SnailOB Posted 4 March, 2010 Share Posted 4 March, 2010 Ah yes, the man that was written off after 2 games by some. Well done Barnard for just getting on with what he knows how to do best. Proven goalscorer at this level, did we expect anything less. Well done that man. Lets now hope that Seabourne gets a chance to also prove the 'naysayers' wrong (not that Fonte or Jaidi are doing anything wrong).
Arizona Posted 4 March, 2010 Share Posted 4 March, 2010 Can't argue with that, although Puncheon and Fonte have both been exceptional in the games Barny has excelled in.
