It is clear that NC and the clubs somewhat poor decision no matter what side of the conspiracy fence you are on, has ruffled a few feathers.

 

So, instead of the crazyness associated with the constant moaning, rediculous noises about boycotting the club etc, how about a petition from as many saints fans as we can find that we can send to NC and Mr Luker ??

 

No need to get angry, no need to bash the keyboards etc, but just a calmly worded letter that spells out the greviences and difficulties posed by those that cannot get a 0% credit card ?

 

Or if there are genuine reasons why the admin costs are too high or a finance scheme is impossible a genuine response from up high ??

 

This IMO would result in three outcomes,

 

1. The problem becomes re-addressed and a payment scheme is offered after the club acknowledge the mistake.

 

2. The reasons behind the lack of plan are revealed and so the conspiracies and anger subside when we know the genuine reasons.

 

3. Nobody from the club responds and we realise that as a customer base we will remain in the dark ??

 

Got to be better than moaning to a bunch of computer screens and achieving nothing :smt102

This thread is clearly a wind up as smirking saint doesn't care about fans being ripped off. Let's see if he's still so happy clappy when we're paying Chelsea prices in a few years time.

No it is not, it is completely genuine Dune/Stanley.

 

I however refuse to pander to some WUM that spouts b*llocks like 'where shall we boycott'

 

I also remember your 'drunken childish stage'.

 

As for the massive tax bla bla bla it is £3 if you can't be arsed to get to the ground and pay in person. And as i said earlier, i highly suspect this was going on more stealthily before, yet now NC has made it more transparent people have the hump.

I'm with you Smirking Saint. Let's get a petition sorted.

 

Firstly we need some clear points that we wish to complain about. I suggest we mention the installment thing and the £3 charge and the poor PA system.

 

Then we need to write exactly what our concerns are and, very importantly, what we would like to be done (pracyical things).

 

This then needs to have lots of (genuine) signatures. I don't know how we get people on line to sign? Maybe take the petition to the friendlies and the first game of the season? Or is that too late?

 

This is my first draft of the petition:

 

We, the undersigned Saints FC fans, wish it to be known to Mr Nicola Cortese and Mr Markus Liebher of our concerns about the following issues. Each issue is explained and a solution or two provided.

 

1. The lack of ability to pay in installments: This is outrageous as many people can't pay up front and you are driving fans away. Is that what you want? Loyal fans who have watched for decades but don't have the ability to pay upfront, especially at such late notice. I for one am meant to be getting road tax this month but have had to postpone that to pay for my season ticket. I will now be driving illegally and it will be your fault.

 

Solution: Next season, reinstate the installment facility.

 

2. The 33 charge for on-line bookings: a stealth tax that has been used to con more money out of us. A stamp costs 48p and an envelope (when bought in bulk) about 5p. The admin asst wages amount to 30p. This is a total of 88p, so where does the £3 come from? explain yourself Nicola.

 

Solution: abolish the £3 charge next season

 

3. The PA system: It has been commented on by many fans that the PA system is terrible and has ruined most fans enjoyment of the game. we like to hear what the announcer is saying, of we can't then many of us cannot see the point of attending games.

 

Solution: Before the start of the season Markus should dip into his pocket and buy a better PA system.

And then we get everyone to sign. I think the 3 points are enough because we don't want the petition to turn into a long rant or give the impression that we're just a bunch of moaners.

 

Everyone else can add suggestions on how to improve the petition and smirking Saint can look into how to get signatures.

You must be one of the lucky ones because I've not seen this years charter yet. Don't shout too loudly - everyone will want one. You are privelaged and clearly the club loves you. LMFAO.
