BBC reporter chap: "A gritty performace from Southampton" Watching those highlights would make an impartial observer wonder what all the fuss was about in our post-match reaction. Seems even more so like a good 3 points when not firing on all cylinders.

Liquidshokk Posted 14 February, 2011 Share Posted 14 February, 2011 Think that maybe some have started to expect too much? Yeah, seems that way. 3 points really is all that matters as every game is different. We will have good and bad days and getting three points despite playing badly is not a bad day. Wish they would get rid of that bloke who does the voice overs though... his voice is very annoying.
Saint_clark Posted 14 February, 2011 Share Posted 14 February, 2011 Great play by Hammond in the build up to N'Guessans chance. No idea why people think he's useless when going forward.

They were good.
Matthew Le God Posted 14 February, 2011 Share Posted 14 February, 2011 (edited) What happened to the full 90s? They were good. The stopped doing them because they didn't get many views. I would like to see them return though. Peterborough for example still do the full 90 minutes for home and away games and they have fewer fans than Saints watching their player. I wouldn't mind paying extra for them, you could really analyse games by watching them, even if you had to split it down into 4/5 viewing sessions. Matthew Le God Posted 14 February, 2011 Share Posted 14 February, 2011 I don't see why it should cost any extra, as I said Peterborough do it for home and away games and you can watch the full 90 minutes of Posh vs Saints using your Saints Player login. I just think Saints couldn't be bothered to go through the process of matching up the BBC commentary with the pictures and the uploading process with low viewing numbers. Surely it wouldn't take that much time would it?

The reason why I stopped paying for Saints Player is because of the poor away coverage we got. It was just The Football League highlights which are very similar to the BBC highlights. They just add replays. I would also like to see them put a couple of classic games on the Player. SaintsTV had loads of classic matches on there. You can use you Saints Player login and login to the away teams Player and watch their coverage of the game for no extra cost. The subscribtion you pay is for access to all content on all Player sites and not just the Saints one - which is over 70 teams I think.

Yes last year when we had Portsmouth in the Cup they put up a lot of previous Saints/Pompey footage.Don't think they bothered with that for Utd this year though.
