Thedelldays Posted 7 March, 2011 Share Posted 7 March, 2011 for me, I could not give a flying fig if we fluke the 2nd, play like a bunch of no hopers, hoof our way to 2nd spot....its all about promotion. looking at the fixtures, we sure have it WELL within our grasp....as long we we win tomorrow and at lest draw on sat.. Cherries have more away games than home game peterborough have to play both cherries and huddersfield and away to MK Dons (who are on form) huddersfield are the worry, they have the easiest run in on paper... hmmmm....a few twists and turns yet me thinks... this week is so huge for everyone.....who will bottle it first..? Turkish Posted 7 March, 2011 Share Posted 7 March, 2011 I was really p*ssed off after the Wallsall game but having time to calm down a bit and looking on the brightside. Peterborough and Bournemouth have been in great form of late and this cant continue for another 15 games surely? Plus they have to play each other and both have only 5 games left at home, where they are both very strong. MK Dons are in good form of late. Huddersfield have the easiest run in of us all and whilst we haven't been playing well we are still in touch with our destiny still very much in our own hands. Provided we win tomorrow and dont lose to Bournemouth we have a great chance of 2nd. A few twists and turns yet is right, it could well go down to the last day of the season where we have a chance to avenge that bloody result at Wallsall.... Turkish Posted 7 March, 2011 Share Posted 7 March, 2011 the next six games aren't that tough, Yeovil, Wednesday and Charlton at home & away, they have been shocking of late. MK dons will be tricky as will Bournemouth, we should win them all but i'd take 4 wins and two draws.
Jack Posted 7 March, 2011 Share Posted 7 March, 2011 Just looked at it, didn't realise Charlton are so out of form. Still, we haven't been at all convincing since the wins over Dag & Red, Blackpool and Oldham. Need to get back into that sort of form. Still, can put ourselves in a very good position if we win tomorrow and saturday

Going on that we will win all the ones that look tough on paper and lose all the ones that look like points in the bag. Prepare to lose 4-1 to brizzle rovers at home then.................... SimonC Posted 7 March, 2011 Share Posted 7 March, 2011 My view as an 'expect the worst' Bmth fan 1. Brighton 2. Saints 3. P'Boro 4. Hudd 5. Bmth 6. Orient / MK Dons / Charlton I think you'll beat us 2-1 next week. I said all along to any Saints I knew that they would beat us 3 times this season, but as long as we stayed up and got better financially, thats ok for us. We're in dreamland now really - we SHOULD be playing with no fear, which should really help us.
Micky Posted 7 March, 2011 Share Posted 7 March, 2011 The simple fact of the matter is, as the OP says, it doesn't matter how now - but it's time to deliver. If we are going to do it, it's now or never (well not quite never, but I doubt we will have a better chance for a while). Blow it this season and I can see us being here for a while to come.
