NickG Posted 12 April, 2011 Author Share Posted 12 April, 2011 thought diamond would let us dominate centre with extra man but we didn;t use it to pass to spare man

Huffton Posted 12 April, 2011 Share Posted 12 April, 2011 about 5 "simple as that"s so far, several "destiny in our own hands" Lallana should start Saturday You missed a couple of taking care of businesses though, and no mention of buses or buildings. However, a real gem from the master tonight, 'you may lose, but don't lose the lesson'
Rebel Posted 12 April, 2011 Share Posted 12 April, 2011 You think he'd of realized by now that we can't play the diamond - we don't have the right players for it - or they are simply not good enough! 4-4-2 from now on please!
Pat from Poole Posted 13 April, 2011 Share Posted 13 April, 2011 You missed a couple of taking care of businesses though, and no mention of buses or buildings. However, a real gem from the master tonight, 'you may lose, but don't lose the lesson' I heard this last night and just sighed. If he is coming out with this sort of tosh in the dressing room, you get to a point where you start to think the players will just ignore him and do their own thing. Barry the Badger Posted 13 April, 2011 Share Posted 13 April, 2011 You think he'd of realized by now that we can't play the diamond! Is that the same diamond we've been mostly playing in our recent unbeaten run?

Saint Charlie Posted 13 April, 2011 Share Posted 13 April, 2011 I heard this last night and just sighed. If he is coming out with this sort of tosh in the dressing room, you get to a point where you start to think the players will just ignore him and do their own thing. Do you honestly think that he says the same things to the players as the media? Come on...honestly? I would think from the recent performances - 6 wins in 8 - that the players are happy with Adkins. Saint Charlie Posted 13 April, 2011 Share Posted 13 April, 2011 I'm still underwhelmed by saints this season due to performances such as last night. I think you would struggle to be happy with any team then. Perhaps try Barcelona? Or Brighton? Teams will also lose, the best teams lose less, the worst more. Its how you recover from a defeat that counts, and since the Walsall one we have won a lot of games!
