thorpie the sinner Posted 7 May, 2011 Share Posted 7 May, 2011 Have they gone back to their parent clubs following loans? Just wondered why neither were on bench?
Matthew Le God Posted 7 May, 2011 Share Posted 7 May, 2011 (edited) Just wondered why neither were on bench? Because Saints have a large squad. Extremely unlikely N'Guessan will be signed by Saints and I think Saints could get better than Stephens (who may have just been cover until Schneiderlin was fit). Schneiderlin today showed he is a class act in a defensive midfield role. Edited 7 May, 2011 by Matthew Le God
MINIBARCELONASAINT Posted 7 May, 2011 Share Posted 7 May, 2011 N'Guessen was sat on the bench just not officially on it. Stephens wasnt. Didn't see him at all. Barnard was there as was Gobern. HTH. Don't want either next season though.
Nexstar Posted 7 May, 2011 Share Posted 7 May, 2011 Solent said Stephens was at the game. Need to be aiming higher than those 2 though I think
Saint_clark Posted 7 May, 2011 Share Posted 7 May, 2011 Stephens will probably look back at this for the rest of his career as a missed opportunity.
basher Posted 7 May, 2011 Share Posted 7 May, 2011 stephens was cheering with gobern and n'guessan in the itchen but not with the rest of the players .
benjii Posted 7 May, 2011 Share Posted 7 May, 2011 Stephens is like Hammond but not as good. Would be a pointless signing IMO.
david in sweden Posted 8 May, 2011 Share Posted 8 May, 2011 Thought a deal was agreed for Stephens? .....and he (Dale Stephens) left Oldham as their leading scorer --10 goals. Not a Lallana but one of the better L1 midfielders. I think NA has deal lined up for him. N'Guessan (not really seen) will go back to Leicester...especially as Les (quoted On Solent) as saying we will be introducing some young talent next season. He'll have no chances, considering NA has already signed Forte.
