Ponty Posted 22 October, 2008 Share Posted 22 October, 2008 I once paid far too much for a crappy telescope. I think they saw me coming a mile off.
saint francis Posted 22 October, 2008 Share Posted 22 October, 2008 (edited) I'm no expert but that telescope looks great, I bet you can see for miles with one of those. If I had the cash I'd certainly buy it. Edited 22 October, 2008 by saint francis bad gag removed
Jillyanne Posted 23 October, 2008 Share Posted 23 October, 2008 Looks a bit like mine although mine is bigger and why sell it - give it to the grandchildren/child?
Guest Dark Sotonic Mills Posted 23 October, 2008 Share Posted 23 October, 2008 Looks a bit like mine although mine is bigger and why sell it - give it to the grandchildren/child? Because I have already bought an upgrade to a Celestron NexStar 130 SLT motorised 'scope as I found it on eBay as a bit of a bargain.
Wiltshire Saint Posted 23 October, 2008 Share Posted 23 October, 2008 Is that a special space telephone attached to the stand, so you can call any passing UFOs you spot with the telescope?

Pancake Posted 23 October, 2008 Share Posted 23 October, 2008 Is that a special space telephone attached to the stand, so you can call any passing UFOs you spot with the telescope? Maybe its so he can report on the "secret payload" or some "trouble with the Hubble" no?

Guest Dark Sotonic Mills Posted 24 October, 2008 Share Posted 24 October, 2008 Right. I've put it on eBay with a buy-it-now price of £79.99. Anyone on here who wants it I'll let it go for £75. It's a hell of a saving but I really need to get shot of it. I will still deliver to the Winch or Soton area as well. Sold now.
