Anybody read it yet. I went to the afternoon session of the book launch on Sunday at SMS and must admit TP looks as good as ever, I am sure he would still fit into his number 7 shirt. It was an interesting and informative afternoon and I never realised that he was being pruned as our new manager after Ted, how history might have changed if this had happened.

I hear he is doing another book signing on Monday 1st December at Waterstone's, Above Bar, Southampton at 6 pm, the book is well worth getting and there are some excellent photographs in it.

I wrote an email to the publisher and asked if he could get two books dedicated and signed. He said yes, reduced the price by 10% + postage.

Absolutely fantastic service.

What a christmas present!

Andy,

I'm interested to know who you emailed to order the book through. I have checked on Amazon who don't stock it yet. Can you pass on who you contacted please so I might do the same? I live in Preston so have no hope of getting the great man to sign my book in person. cheers Steve

Many thanks. I am slightly 'caravaned' with wine now (just watched live at the apollo) so I'll look into it tomorrow :) In my 2 years in Saudi we got South Africa TV and I was able to watch Gary Bailey present the Prem show co-hosted by Terry and it was a great link back to my team.

I wish he'd lighten up a bit and smile. Unless of course that IS his smile? Anyway I thought he had badgered off for good to South Africa so what's he doing back here trying to cash in on his old memories.

At the time, I loved the guy and used to chat to him in Shirley High Street outside his Fruit & Veg shop but that was then and this is now. Time to move on old lad unless of course you fancy getting your kit on and running up and down the right wing next Saturday?

I remember, years ago, looking at his house that was for sale when we were moving back to the area. Bitterne Park, he lived IIRC.

He was very proud to show me his trophy cabinet ;)

Wow, this is a first! First time I have disagreed with you, CW. Did Terry sell you some stringy beans or mushrooms that were too small? As for cashing in etc, did you write the same about all the other ex Saints players and old memories in print? I shall part with my £19.95 for his book and tell myself that it is the best spend for ages!

I shall be there on Monday and shall be taking my grandson, to introduce him to one of the ex Saints players that put a smile on my face every game.

The event at Waterstone's this evening was well attended. Terry looked well (and smiled a lot, Charlie) and talked about his time at Saints/South Africa and football then and now. He answered questions from the floor and then signed many copies of his book.

Enjoyable.

Yep Dave Bull has done the same for me too and he has also perviously for my Dell Diamond, Match of the Millenium and Full time at the Dell and they are all signed by Ted and\or Matty.

The service is why I will always buy the Hagiology books!
