Had enough of living in the cold home country..? Don't want to move to another..? Have you considered moving to... Great British Territories..? ;)

Here's a list. If available, note the pictures when you look at them. Almost all of them have one thing in common. It's warmer there..!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falkland_Islands [oops, chilly again]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gibraltar [quickly back to nice temps]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tristan_da_Cunha

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Georgia_and_the_South_Sandwich_Islands [cold again]

Of course you could always shack up with Wilde in Jersey or Guernsey. Or go to the Isle Of Man. But with the above list on offer, who'd bother..?

Now crank up the central heating. :D

I may go and work in an offshore haven like BVI one day.

Looks like a good idea.

Before you flit off to the Virgin Islands: Cayman Islands - The government's primary source of income is indirect taxation - there is no income tax, capital gains tax or corporation tax. ;)

Committed to, variously - mutiny, rape and incest, one assumes?

Hmm, well yes, I see what you mean Robsk. But my intention was to highlight the remoteness of Pitcairn Island. There isn't anything else particularly close by. Which kind of attributed to starting that whole thing off.

Tristan da Cunha's the most remote isn't it?

Seem to remember reading something about it a while back.

I know I could just click on the link to check....

Yep, Tristan da Cunha is the most isolated populated island in the world. It is also one of ten from the above list that I have been to.

Of them all I think I would live in Bermuda, a truly beautiful place.

Bermuda is now the home of many big global reinsurance companies, a number of which relocated from London as it's also 0% corporation/income tax over there.

I know a number of people out there and hopefully I'll be able to visit soon.
