Window Cleaner Posted 4 December, 2008 Share Posted 4 December, 2008 for Saga and Rudi having participated in the Euro 2008. Couldn't say how much though, probably not a lot as it's on a player/day basis and both teams went out in the first round.50 K ish perhaps. All helps fund the stayaways. Are we giving the money to people on the Club's database who haven't bought a ticket this season?
Hatch Posted 4 December, 2008 Share Posted 4 December, 2008 According to the beeb, Rangers are getting a 4 figure sum. So don't get too excited yet.
Window Cleaner Posted 4 December, 2008 Author Share Posted 4 December, 2008 (edited) According to the beeb, Rangers are getting a 4 figure sum. So don't get too excited yet. who did they have? Could be someone they used to have, the payments also go back to clubs who had players in national sides 2 years ago. Pity England didn't qualify, we'd have got money for Walcott as well, even Crouch perhaps. Edited 4 December, 2008 by Window Cleaner

How on earth did they calculate that!? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/7765422.stm I would say: £3,420 x 2 x however many days (seems like 16.8!). Window Cleaner Posted 4 December, 2008 Author Share Posted 4 December, 2008 According to the Beeb, we're getting £114,943! How on earth did they calculate that!? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/7765422.stm ie the equivalent of an extra 14800 home crowd at the average ticket price of £18 (which is far higher than last seasons average seat price of £13.57) Now you see why Lowe can stick two fingers up at the stayaways That money will probably fund our wage bill for a week.
