Not quite what you asked for, but the commentating that I enjoyed most was : 'For those with black and white television (Arsenal) are in the red and (Chelsea) are in blue' (can't remember who the teams were, but it was a classic 1960's ColemanBalls in Private Eye

It was a Cup Final. I thought it was Everton and Liverpool but it was a common problem back in 'them days'.
