Surely if we lose at Norwich Jan will be sacked.

I am beginning to think Lowe has a self-interest driven plan if we relegate.

I dont know whether Lowe wants to survive or relegate the club in administration. I think that contrary to the thread that says Lowe is in a Lose - Lose situation, Lowe is in a win-win one... but I can't work out his strategy and reasons for wanting administration and relegation.

Something is fishy. Otherwise he'd have sacked JP.

But it could be down to arrogance - it could be that he knows that the whole totally crap football idea was his and therefore he's staked his reuptation and knows he must see it through. Perhaps he still thinks he's right and we'll finish mid-table.

Do you trust Lowe?

I'd be more trustful leaving all my valuables in a paper bag at a swimming pool 2bh. I personally think Lowe is trying to run the club into administration so that he can take over the club completely and have no need for Wilde and no opposition from Crouch etc.

To be honest,if he,s not been sacked by now he,s not going to be.If Lowe knows that fans want him out , he will keep him just to spite us.

All we can do is not buy seasons tickets for next season and give them an empty stadium , not productive I know but it,s that or put up with it all.

Frankly anyone who buys a ST must be stark raving mad. When Lowe buys up the Club after relegation and administration and then leads it towards League 2 and liquidation, you'll lose your money.

ST holders would be wise to pay on the gate from now on....there's always a seat. :) Too much risk in losing your money I'd say under Lowe.

Here is a question:

Would you be happy to lose to Norwich - a relegation rival - if you knew for certain Jan would go?

Yes.

And that doesn't make me any less of a fan, as my logic is that by ridding ourselves of Jan I honestly feel we have a much better chance of staying up (although the huge caveat on that would be as long as Kim Van Der Waal's doesn't get the fcking job!!!!!!).

Ditto - although it sounds as it KvdW DOES have the job!

JP's job is a close to a job for life as you can get.

I honestly believe that no matter what the score of the Norwich City game or any other matches between now and our relegation he will not lose his job.

In fact he we only lose his job if Lowe decides he's too expensive.

Depressing but I honestly think it's true as well.

We are due a feckin' big hammering by someone and that still won't see him get the sack. Funnily enough the top sides rarely thrash us so it wouldn't surprise me if Norwich win about 6-0!

On that note - Hey Jan where is this game where we thrash someone then? You said it was due just before we went on our ten game slump!

Tosser.

At least you are honest in your assessment of yourself in the signature at the end of your message. Sacking JP would be absurd and achieve absolutely nothing positive. It would be nice to have bought Kaka this year but for better or worse this club has opted for the only strategy available in its financial situation. Any club that then panics and changes manager after only half a season and when there is no realistic alternative strategy actually deserves to go down. If they hold their nerve there is no reason to think we will.

Good question and normally I would say yes but the main person we need to be hailing a taxi out of SMS is Lowe and removing JP will just be another "paper over the cracks" exercise. Probably Wotte (the ladies man) will take over

After watching players like DMG this season and Euell last season, stick stay in the side long after they should have been dropped, I know it doesn't work like that.

I think Jan could lose the next 5 games 5-0 and still wouldn't get sacked. As the Pearson situation showed, it's not how a manager performs that determines whether he keeps his job. It's about whether they can cope with Lowe's ego.

I cant believe theres actually a positive post about Portaloo.

Sacking him would be VERY positive because while hes in charge we will continue to play stupid formations at home,

right side players on the left and vice versa,

stupid and baffling subsitutions,

always playing McGoldrick.

Just think if we had stayed with Burley, because it was better than "panicking and changing the manager"? We would never had got Pearson in,who eventually saved us(but was then stabbed in the back by Lowe).

Lets face it this stupid Dutch experiment has failed and the sooner Portaloo,Lowe ,Wilde and the rest of the sorry bunch go,the better.

your logic is exactly why its no for me - it won't guarantee a better manager, quite possibly a worse one so give me the points!

Ive just seen the statement.

Great news.

Now lets get rid of Lowe.

I would like to suggest

Priority 1 No Relegation

Priority 2 No Administration

Priority 3 Complete new board without Lowe Wilde etc

Making Lowe the top Priority may not be in the best interests he went once but when he came back we were in a worse position
