Kenilworthy Posted 24 January, 2009 Share Posted 24 January, 2009 Not that I am defending Rupert. But I am not sure we can count Souness, as he resigned while Rupert was only chairman elect and hadn't actually taken over - remember Rupert being called from the tennis court to comment?. So it could be claimed that Souness went on Askham's watch.
Stax Posted 24 January, 2009 Share Posted 24 January, 2009 A lot of people said on here if JP left Wotte would take over you would have thought Lowe would have learnt a lesson after Wigly and Gray.
Belgiansaint Posted 24 January, 2009 Share Posted 24 January, 2009 Lowe will tell you he actually sacked only one or two. Now, if you make life impossible to someone, it's technically true they'll go on their own initiative. That's how vicious I believe he can be. Get people down to a point they can't take it anymore. The man is a pillock.

Mr X Posted 24 January, 2009 Author Share Posted 24 January, 2009 Actually forgot Gorman and Dodd too so that makes it 14!
St Landrew Posted 24 January, 2009 Share Posted 24 January, 2009 Actually forgot Gorman and Dodd too so that makes it 14! But take away Nigel Pearson, because he wasn't appointed by Rupert Lowe, but by Leon Crouch, and recommended by Lawrie McMenemy. So it's 13. Anyone superstitious..? You can always call Dodd/Gorman, one appointment; which makes 12 again.

Here are some examples of clubs that have done this: Man U Arsenal Liverpool Everton We did it under Lawrie and look what happened. Why cant Lowe see this!
