Stripey McStripe Shirt Posted 23 August, 2025 Posted 23 August, 2025 Over the past decade or so, we've got to be up there, surely?
ErwinK1961 Posted 23 August, 2025 Posted 23 August, 2025 Probably, and almost certainly top of the playing against 9 men league. 1
S-Clarke Posted 23 August, 2025 Posted 23 August, 2025 We're certainly the worst club against Stoke. A really miserable team to play against, no matter what season, what scenario, what quality of player, what league. It's always pure misery. 2
bpsaint Posted 24 August, 2025 Posted 24 August, 2025 It is remarkable the way it seems we are the only side that never make it count when the opposition goes down to 10 men. It’s not a new phenomenon either, I remember us playing Colchester back in 2010 or something and were up against 10 men for an hour and could only muster a 0-0 draw 1

SW5 SAINT Posted 24 August, 2025 Posted 24 August, 2025 I once remember us grabbing a 3-3 draw from the jaws of victory against a 9 man Middlesbrough. 1
Kenilworthy59 Posted 25 August, 2025 Posted 25 August, 2025 Spurs away quite recently lost 2-1 to 10 men. But we were at it back in March 1986 when we lost 1-0 away at 10 man West Brom - who were relegated that season. I seem to recall we missed a penalty as well. 1

We did, WBA had the no-smoking sponsor logo. Owen their Canadian ex-Man City midfielder scored. They were as bad as we were last season.
