When he first arrived he was doing it a fair bit, and he seemed to do it all the time for West Brom but his first thought now seems to be to cut inside virtually all the time. Seems especially strange given we've now got a couple of options in terms of a physical presence that would thrive on the crosses he could put in. Absolutely this. I’ve been watching him closely at games and he seems frightened to take players on or lose the ball. Consequently he often checks inside and plays the easy ball. Maybe it’s his confidence but it slows our play down. Edited 7 hours ago by bangkoksaint 2
haddock24 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago watched him last nite and unfortunately hes a bit of a damp squip.hr has two actions going down line but passing back when he cant beat the fullback and cutting inside where there are too many players in his way.He needs to rethink what he does or be replaced 2
Badger Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Surprised the level of criticism for Fellows here, although it does seem fashionable to highlight him. His shooting has been poor, now a confidence issue, but for me he seems to have exceptional close ball control - possibly second only to Scienza- and can deliver a decent cross. We’re a better team with him in it when he’s firing in my view. We pissed him about a bit early season as a WB. Had he started the season with a Larin or fit Stewart he’d have had a few assist credits to his name. He’ll come good. Edited 3 hours ago by Badger 1

No-one wants to see fellows in the az hole.. ..and god forbid if Wood decides to play a little further up the pitch. Surprised this went unnoticed for so long. 1 1

He's still plugging away and draws in players but you can see his confidence for shooting is waning. I’m hoping he joins the unlikely heroic scorer of an important goal club soon, possibly in the SF. A select club with Hugh Fisher, Paul Gilchrist, and Terry Curran as members.

Saint Pete Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Brett Ormerod?! Probably less Saints goals than Shane Long?
saintwbu Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Surely Gabbiadini? - whoops just seen ‘unlikely’, guessing a striker scoring wasn’t ‘unlikely’, although that’s up for debate with some of our recent ones! Edited 59 minutes ago by saintwbu
