Saint Fan CaM Posted 30 January, 2009 Share Posted 30 January, 2009 I think it might be better if he was not there frankly...and Lowe too for that matter. Just let the team and coaches do their work without any Board level interference.

up and away Posted 30 January, 2009 Share Posted 30 January, 2009 It would save 60 grand if him and the ruddy faced **** stay away. I wish it were that simple. The idiots that started the trouble at the Doncaster game were physically abusing fans just because they did not join in some manner. I just hope none of the rubbish from pizza boy effects the match. Do what ever you want when the game is not in progress, especially the end. Normally when the play is not too exciting we start getting the Pompey songs, soon after followed by something aimed at the board.

A fight i witnessed started because a pro Lowe supporter got a man by the throat for singing anti Lowe songs.
pilsburydoughboy Posted 30 January, 2009 Share Posted 30 January, 2009 I think that was the same fight i saw. I dont think the players are that bothered if the crowd get stuck into the board during the game.Given a few of the recent performances do they give a **** about the club anyway? A fight i witnessed started because a pro Lowe supporter got a man by the throat for singing anti Lowe songs. The same could be said. The two anti Lowe/Wilde idiots standing up behind me in the Itchen waving their tickets and shouting obscenities towards the directors box were asked to sit down by two pensioners who wanted to watch the game. The pensioners were then subjected to verbal abuse and threatened with violence, when asked to leave the stadium by the stewards (one of the stewards felt threatened) one of the idiots gestured to fans who jeered him to have a go at him. He stood there brazingly using the come on gesture with his hands, this to his own fans.

All i'm saying is that both sides have a minority element that are as bad as each other.

To be fair if thats what happened and other fellow fans felt threatened, then the offending fans should have been ejected, though the fact that they were anti Lowe, should not have made a difference. It doesn't, the fact is I was replying to Stanley's post which was implying a fight had been started by a pro-Lowe. I just try to keep a balance. By the way the offenders were ejected, that's when one of them did his come on gesture to anyone who looked or spoke to him.

Bailey Posted 30 January, 2009 Share Posted 30 January, 2009 Be very surprised to see either Lowe or Wilde at the game tomorrow. To be honest, it might be better if they did stay away and left the players and coaches alike to get on with their jobs.
