There was a poster called Old Ottery who used to post on Sotonians a while back. Can’t recall if he was OSM though.

VFTT/Ascoli. Great poster with an interesting past. Think cycling probably takes up all his time now. 

JRM. Not sure what happened to him, good poster. 

Colbury. Believe he died quite young sadly.

Sir Griff. Sadly died following a fall outside a club I believe. Was going out with PompeyLass.

Other notable skates include Linvoy’s Afro and Corp Ho. Last seen in Toys r Us apparently. 

The9. Use to enjoy telling everyone how good he was at Football. Wasn’t from the area so maybe fell out of love with us a bit.

It was quite clicky back in the day and our behaviour was overseen by the likes of Maverick, Michelle, Al de Man, Baj, Minty et al. I think they all use to meet up with their names on the back on their shirts 😂

Then you had the self care era. Starfish, SaintAndy666, Redandwhitepanda, SuperMikey and Buzzin Orn all spending their Friday and Saturday nights as 18 year olds posting on here! 

 

It was funnier years ago though. Less offence, less politics and generally less division. Probably mirrors the outside world quite well. 

 

I remember when the saintsweb lot did a preseason trip to Sweden I think it was, they were all proper nerds and shared their pictures on the forum. It every photo there was a picture of some fit Swedish girl as she was walking off. You can only imagine what they made of a load of geeks in football shirts with their forum user names on the back

I once got a threatening PM of Michelle who claimed she was going to make my life hell if I don’t stop taking the piss out of them all fortunately for me she never folllowed up on her threats.

JRM is still around although not sure he posts anymore. Stu got his wangy eye sorted out and is now the Louis Walsh of the YouTube world running some sort of talent agency for aspiring YouTubers, I think Angry Ginge might have been one of his. He’s done very well for himself since he stopped posting on here which is perhaps a lesson for us all.

Can’t believe I’ve been posting on here for over 25 years in its various formats. For me though nothing will ever top 3 things. prick of a stick, then The photo of Keith Legg as Micheal Wildes lap dog when Keith was blatantly used to get the fans on side, and of course Amygate tops them all. Never fails to make me laugh.

It was one of Glasgows user names, who also no longer posts. Guess the momentum curve swang too far for him
