Just watched this for about the 100th time! It cheers me up after the trauma of being expelled.

The control and shot were mattyesque. Often forgotten are the brilliant tackle by Jander on the half way line, the vision of Scienza and the lung bursting run by Matsuki to lay on the goal.

Absolutely great goal. A special memory.

Would of been better to add a link for us to enjoy too.

There is footage of the last 20 minutes on youtube, but amidst the madness of the playoffs I totally forgot that Scienza had a goal chalked off for offside early on, so I've gone with the match highlights.

Too bad we couldn't hold on, I'm certain we would have won the final if we'd made it.

When you watch the replay, this guy had the prime seat, he knew it was in, and was jumping up before everyone else 😄

When Koeman used to manage us I used to find myself applauding defence-splitting passes almost before they happened, as you could see the runs our players were making to end up through on goal.

I'd say that I've grown out of doing that sort of thing but I think the reality was a combination of Puel coaching them to go backwards and sideways, along with a lack of capable players ever since.

Special moment, made even better being at our end, great scenes

One of those moments you’ll never forget. Magnificent commentary too, by not saying a word.

One of the bedt Saints goals. Great atmosphere went belistic as behind goal.

Genuinely thought I was going to pass out after celebrating that 😂

Great moment at the time but I can't get as misty eyed about it as others personally.

Sick of having to celebrate nearly moment or brave defeats.
