Chips, proper chips not these fries nonsense. Thick cut, triple cooked loads of salt and vinegar. Or chip shop chips from a decent chippy

Steak. Good quality, well cooked, rested, dollop of mustard. Bliss.

No cut I don't like, although sirloin is overpriced, and always bettered by many "inferior" cuts like flat iron, bavette, onglet, etc.

When I was in Calabria a few weeks ago I became addicted to the red onions. They are absolutely delicious, they’re sweet and I found myself ordering an onion and tomato salad as a side with every meal. I’m not a hue fan of onions at home but there they were fantastic.

I don't, and I think they're few and far between anywhere these days.
