benjii Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago And for those that like xG, they are actually 16th, so arguably over-performing. In summary, stats suggest they are a mid table team currently having a bit of a patch. But it's only 13 matches.
Pamplemousse Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago https://wbaunofficial.org.uk/showthread.php?tid=43195 There's one bloke here who absolutely hates us for some reason. Bizarre

Bizarre "Matters little than one of my best mates (I was his best man, as it happens) is a Pompey fan" There's your answer, he later goes on to type a clear load of bullshit. Bloke's clearly a whopper. 1
Mboto Gorge Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Interestingly we have the exact same record after 13 games as we had in our promotion season 2011/12, with our GD being 1 goal better this season 2026/27 W8 D3 L2 F28 A13 2011/12. W8 D3 L2 F28 A14 Goes without saying but without the minus 4 we’d be charging ahead now Edited 2 hours ago by Mboto Gorge 1

If we can keep up the pace and energy I just don't see anything other than a win for us on Tuesday. TE will have done his homework and I'm confident he'll find a way to beat them. Not saying it won't be tough though. Edited 1 hour ago by OneMrsWallace 1
Lymington Saint Posted 34 minutes ago Posted 34 minutes ago Feel dirty writing this but a Pompey win on Tuesday against Swansea would help. Combined with a Saints win against WBA would put us in second. At least for one day. 1
LiberalCommunist Posted 6 minutes ago Posted 6 minutes ago For me, Pompey are well off the hook. We have bigger fish to fry. The victims are the real villains for this season, and that is going to heat up massively over the coming weeks. Any chance we can have a real ref for that game?
die Mannyschaft Posted 6 minutes ago Posted 6 minutes ago I'm impressed with our last few games with a more attacking play. bit of luck but the defence has done its job and we look a much more confident unit. Some of the midfield v QPR was great and I think we can win at WBA 2-0 or 2-1. Azaz has been delivering some inch perfect passes, Scienza taking on players again and tracking back. Same starting 11 as QPR.
