Really? I know football is all about opinions but our group thought he was ****e.

Good in the air, strong in the tackle and clearly organising the back line (or trying) quite a decent game when u consider him returning here + debut? + long layoff!

Leads by example and thats why/what i like(d) about him - inspires and demands more effort from those around him and thats something we have missed - aka a leader

Well if you had watched him play at Stoke then you would know it was not just today....Ok he has had a bad run of injuries and the couple of halves he played I saw him in he was awful.

He did Ok for us but the point of my post was that I think we did well out of the deal...thats what!!

He's just not fit and has played how many minutes this season? He was a good player for us and I expect him to be once again when fit.

But we definitely dodged a bullet when we managed to offload him to Stoke, even with getting Pulis jnr in return. I was wondering if we had not managed to offload him how much more trouble we would have been financially? Would we have been even able to afford what little we have now?

Davies did well in the first half IMO.

However, selling him may have proved to be a clever bit of business in the end as he always seems to struggle with injuries.

Still, he was first class during his time here but he's left now and so we move on.

Have to agree with this, he was good when here but he has moved on now, we now have an equally good replacement in size, albeit several monthe late.

I watched him warming up and while he was jumping well off both feet I though he ran awkwardly and less than full speed which is normally a pretty good sign that you are carrying an injury(ies). On yesterdays performance he will not be missed.

I thought Seijs played well yesterday and Liptak good in the few minutes - one header he did he was over a foot higher than Parkin could jump - shades of Michael
