Because I can't say it particularly bothers me. I'm just surprised that people who are so concerned about the rights of Arab settlers apparently have no interest in this story.

I’m surprised that people are discussing Eurovision lyrics and nobody has mentioned this https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-68945445 Knowing how passionately some of you feel about the rights of Arab villagers, having their settlements forcefully cleared, I’m surprised there’s not more outrage at this use of ‘lethal force’.
  3. No. I’d focus on becoming a professional footballer and making first team appearances, the money will come flooding in when you start getting good. I’d rather be the next Rice, Bellingham or Grealish than the next Winston Bogarde or Terry Cooke.
  4. Interesting team today. Turner and Abbas both in the 14 but don’t make the match day 11, looks like we’re going for the extra spin option of Organ.
  5. Which is fine a ps a sentiment but doesn’t actually address the issue. Stewart is not fit enough to be starting, so the alternatives are Mara or moving AA out of position. I’d rather keep AA where he’s best and have at least one credible goal threat, so for me it’s Mara by process of elimination.

24 hour time out on this one, minus a solid page of posts there was absolutely no need for. Unless your name’s Brian and you’re being crucified, there’s no need to bring anyone’s wife into a thread about Israel.
  7. If Adams isn’t fit it’ll almost certainly be Mara in his place and, as much as I don’t rate the latter, that’s the obvious and correct decision. Stewart’s return needs to be managed steadily. Best case; I could see him playing the last half hour, or at a stretch the second half, at Wembley, should we make it.
  8. I quite like the City one. The sponsors logo doesn’t look like a piece of wrong coloured plastic which has been glued on at the last second like half of ours in the past. Also the space it’s one fits neatly into the stripes. Basically, look at Saints 2008-10 home shirt for everything I find dreadful about a football shirt. Edit: This year’s home kit is crap too. I said it’d just look half pink from any sort of distance and it does.
  9. I doubt he prioritises being slightly more popular with some random strangers on an internet message board over PL football and the chance of being in the squad for a major international tournament. I'm a Saints fan, I'd have done exactly the same thing and would expect a fairly decent reception if I ever came back.

It’s an emotive topic but there’s no need for personal digs about people’s private life.
  11. That makes no sense, it was all with West Ham and their squad, he wouldn’t have that here and even if he did it’s now in the past and they’re on a downwards trajectory. You could stick Pellegrino in charge of Man City, he’d probably finish about 7th and we could sit here and sarcastically so, “oooh 7th in the PL isn’t good enough, we’re too ambitious apparently!” For all the comments that we’d be harder to beat and more likely to stay up, Moyes has been on the wrong end of some absolute thumpings this season. 5-0 against Chelsea, 5-2 against Palace, 6-0 against Arsenal, 5-0 against Fulham, 5-1 against Liverpool, 4-1 against Villa.
  12. TBH, I’d say no. He’s a hit and miss manager and there’s nothing about him that makes me think he’d definitely take us to a level beyond RM. West Ham are looking a consecutive bottom half finishes the way their results are going which is a bit ‘meh’ really.
  13. One for the statisticians - have Man Utd ever finished a PL season on negative GD? Currently -3 on the live table.
  14. That being said, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to score a few.
