What'll be more cost effective in the long run? Not getting in better players because we don't want to pay the sub-standard players we can't shift or getting in better players regardless and cover the garden leave pay retrospectively with a fraction of the premier league riches upon promotion...? They couldn't have made that look any more tinpot if they'd tried! Why not repeat what they did with the Starling logo previously..?

Positives: good to see such an iconic Saints kit get a reboot and good that the club badge is more in proportion than the one on the Chinese effort. Negatives: the black border around the logo is too thick, which makes it look a bit amateurish; having two different reds is totally bizarre: why would it even occur to someone that was an idea worthy of consideration, let alone implementation? And the triangles on the shoulder make the design as a whole look a tad higgledy-piggledy rather than slick. But... "It's only a kit" so doesn't really matter....

Sheesh, that hits hard in the heart. I know it's a cliché but it really does put our day-to-day grumbles into perspective. RIP ❤️

Yep, fair point 👍 As long as we end up with one of the best, if not the best, strike forces in the division (on paper) then I'll be happy with our transfer / retention policy.
