I can't remember now, although i think it was the away game. You only have to see this video to see it though - 1 on 1 as an 18year old, first time playing at this level, and he's just outright bullying defenders with power and skill... all in one of the worst teams to ever grace the premier league. Kids got the potential to be absolute class.

Unravelling is probably their heaviest to date in truth - picks up on the back of kill or be killed and won't stand down. I am ofc just messing around re the whole radiohead/thom yorke thing (it was ever so slightly before my time) - although i can't listen to radiohead, just puts me to sleep.

I think its good business for him tbh. I like the look at him from what i've seen in the clips, and he is being bought to suit Still's tactical style. Its 10M euros which includes add ons - and its reasonable to assume those will be related to number of goals scored and promotion. So assuming he's a success it will be a good price for him and we'll be able to afford the add on's fairly easily, and if he's merely a bit meh he's a low risk signing. I also think people forget just how bad the general standard is in the championship - unless he gets injured he'll get goals. And if he gets regular playing time and a decent season under his belt then he'll likely develop quite nicely.

My take on Dibling is that he had some of the world's top defenders scared last season. Watch back the highlights vs city as an example - Gvardiol doesn't know whether to close him down or stand off him, and either way Dibling completely does him a couple of times. That was the standout point for me - top class defenders didn't know how to defend against him and were scared... and it was repeated on multiple occasions last season. To be having that impact as a fresh faced 18year old in his first few months of senior football should be enough to set off the "this kid is good" klaxon in most fans' heads - it certainly did for a lot of pundits and other clubs.
-
Reading about him and thinking about it the context of how we're likely to play, I think we're signing him with the hope he'll be the starting CF for the team by the 2nd half of the season - which ties in with why he may be tempted to move here.
-
You won't know how good new signings are by the end of the window ð... Remember when people were happy with BBD and Sugawara ð

People being overly pessimistic. He's a good young player being bought into provide squad depth in the CF position, played 1 year of senior football at a senior level and done well by all accounts, prior to that played u19 bundesliga - so still young and made a good step up. Strong, pacey, and generally athletic. Appears to have good movement and finishing. Let's be honest - even if you looked at it as a like for like replacement for TP, it's an upgrade. And barring a bad injury, he'll offer more than Stewart has done in 2 seasons ðð

And which one of those players would anyone like to see lining up for saints in the premier league in 14months time? ðð
-
So two players (who the forum has pretty much all agreed are not good enough for the premier league) doing better than him for us that season, is now an argument that he wouldn't have then been washed away with the rest of the team in the premier league is it? He wasn't an exceptional / stand out player for us, we largely stood still last summer as it is, we'd have certainly stood still had we signed brooks, and the past season was embarrassingly poor - we need to be signing players who at least have the potential to be starting players in midtable prem squads -and also, who would he have replaced in the starting 11? Fernandes? Dibling? Less than 1000minues for a mid table bournemouth side is just further evidence that we need to do better than him. The naysayers are correct on this one.

Does this mean we can look forward to Chelsea have a renewed interest in our academy players ð

The perfect solution is that Ramsdale stays here this season. If we get rid of him on loan, we will be similarly tied to finding a loan keeper to come in and cover him. Equally, we'll find it harder to attract keepers if they know they'll be playing second fiddle to Ramsdale next season. He either stays or leaves imo - and a decision needs to be made before too long or we just tell him he's staying regardless.

What's the fee / damage at the end of the day then? -
You'd rather sell the likes of Ramsdale/Fernandes/Dibling? If selling the fluff around the edges means we can keep one of them, then i have zero issues.

I was comparing it to this one (the original):
