Nothing wrong with boring them to death. Once they switch off for a nap we get at 'em.
Stephens must not play, Manning must not play, Smallbone must not play, Mara must not play, Brooks must not play….. there, sorted. Anybody left?
What an appalling performance, hang your heads in shame Smallbone, Stephens and Mara. What on earth is wrong with these people that they can't raise their game when it really matters. A goalless draw is not a good enough reason to excuse them for simply shockingly lazy performances. Let's face it the subs weren't much better either, Fraser huffed and puffed a bit but Brooks again did his impression of the Invisible man. More of this on Friday and we can kiss goodbye to any hopes of promotion.
On balance the four teams in the play-offs seem pretty evenly matched and it will come down surely to which group of players want it most and with a firm belief that they will be able to hack it in the PL should they succeed.
Several Saints players must be uncertain whether they will be part of the club's plans if promotion is gained. To succeed players must put club before self and play their hearts out for the group benefit whatever their futures hold. This will be Martin's task this week
